Although the hotel is going through a renovation, I was somewhat uncomfortable staying here. TV, microwave, fridge, Wifi were all updated but my bathroom needed work..Shower curtain was moldy, ceiling tiles and floor tiles were cracked. Window curtains were pretty grimy and dirty. The bed linens were clean and the beds were comfortable. Coffee was unavailable in the morning and... More

We found Micanopy Inn while searching for a place close to Paynes Pairie. This is less than 10 mins. from one of the entrances! Nice hotel, clean rooms, very friendly staff. Dylan made us feel right at home. They are in the process of re-doing the rooms, we were in one of the rooms in transition, but it was still... More

Stopped at the Micanopy Inn on my way home to Georgia, and I'm glad I did! Friendly staff are hard to come by these days. I don't usually leave reviews but I had to pay my respects to the young man at the friend desk, I believe his name is 'Dylan'. Very friendly and polite. This young mans willingness to... More

As we were traveling we were tired and need a place to stay. We came across The Micanopy Inn and to our surprise the hospitality and rooms were amazing. We would recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. We would also definitely stay again.

We had car trouble late one night on I75 and were so fortunate to find this little motel. Although they're admittedly "in transition", the rooms were clean and comfy. And if Kevin is any indication, their biggest asset is friendly people. He made us feel right at home and we would highly recommend you try a visit for yourself!

Very nice place to stay and explore the quaint little town of Micanopy. I believe they have recently renovated the rooms. They were quite lovely. Lot's of little antique stores. Very good restaurants, great barbeque at Pearls gas station (also really good breakfast). Another place for great pizza was across the street from Pearls.

We have traveled and been to many hotels as our daughter plays travel volleyball. We were coming up to Gainesville for the UF vs FSU game for my husband's birthday. I told Linda from The Micanopy Inn that we were coming in for his special day. What they did upon our arrival absolutely amazed us. The room was decorated in... More

I have been staying at the Micanopy Inn for Florida Gator games for two years now. The first time I stayed there the place was a mess and looked horrible. Then, the inn got new ownership and the place has transformed into one of the best places to stay in that area. Each week, the Inn got nicer and nicer... More

I tried really hard to be open minded about this place based on other reviews. I knew it would be old and dated but wanted to give it a try. My husband did not want to go there, so i am having to apologize to him for this choice. First - the good things. Beds very comfortable and room appeared... More

We understand that we missed the mark. In an effort to continue to move forward, we are meeting with an equity partner who will help us to finish what we've started. There are 3 things we can control: clean, friendly and affordable. It is difficult to hear tough reviews. First of all, our motel family lost a customer. We often... More

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, but the facility is in need of some serious attention: repairs, deep cleaning and renovation. It is convenient to I-75 and not five minutes from the charming little town of Micanopy and close to Blue Highway Pizza too.

Our primary goal is to provide exceptional, loving service, while we continue to improve our property on a daily basis. This was the first 8 Days Inn opened back in 1971, which later became Days Inn. Over the years; Scottish Inn, Knights Inn (previous owner lost this lower level franchise flag), now it's The Micanopy Inn. My wife and I... More
