Do not stay in this building unless you are willing to accept elevators (the few that still operate) that have not been approved for safety, daily fire alarms (whether false alarms, tests, or real fires), an awful valet service, and a for-residents pool that is shared with rowdy hotel guests. The condo side of the building is supposed to have... More

I have rented here most of the winter and it has been one nightmare after another. From the NON-OPTIONAL "Valet" damaging my vehicle twice (total $2,200 damage) , daily Fire Alarm malfunctions, so much concrete dust from re-grinding the poorly laid cement on the pool deck, to jackhammers from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm seven days a week with workers... The Roney Palace is a great place to stay on the South when you are looking to spend a good quality time where you required good location at the same time, good ambient and far from the dinamyc vibe of the crowded Ocean drive. I encounter this place not just amazing with excellent valet parking and great condos unit where... More

Stayed her with my family of 4. The units were large an spacious. Great Views. Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Still some renovations going on but really no major noise so it really did not bother us. We will be booking with Royal Stays Miami again on our next trip to Miami. Thanks Again

We have stayed in the Roney Palace for years, but won't again for a while. Construction has been going on for 2 years and may go even longer. No gym (construction). No direct access to beach until they finish the tear-down of the original wooden boardwalk, which is being converted to cement. Noise is unbearable from 8am to 4:30 pm.... More

I think you need to accept a place this size will always be being renovated. It still is. location is good, rooms are huge and 30 seconds walk to the beach, 10 minutes walk to Lincoln bvd. Very comfortable

The Roney Palace building complex has been half condominium, half hotel for many years. The older reviews you see here date to when the hotel half was also known as the Roney. That was bought out by the Gansevort (sic?) group, which failed as a hotel, which was then bought out by the Starwood Group who are currently undertaking a... More

Yes this hotel/condominium is being remodeled. Yes there is a bit of noise during the day, yes it is a bit dusty during the day but all this is irrelevant. The construction is limited to the outside balconies, walls and fresh coats of paint. Stop whining. The amenities are still available (pools bars etc). Take a short walk and you... More

The location is perfect if you are a family with kids. Far away enough from the partying but close enough to restaurants, Espaniola Way, Lincoln mall, etc. The only ocean front that was somewhat affordable in Miami Beach!

Don't do it! This hotel is a giant rip off. No matter what you need they don't have it, everything is way overpriced and they have an extreme knack for throwing in extra charges. The pool is crowded, the hotel itself is nothing special. We've stayed at many hotels in the South Beach area and this is the only hotel... More
