I Visit South Beach about once a year.. The Richmond Hotel, Great Location-Collins Ave, Transportation is easy, Bus North or South on Collins or Washington Ave to head to Ocean Drive on any of the #s Streets!. I used to Cross over to Washington Ave to head down to 8th Street to cross over to Ocean Ave, which is easy,... More

THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!!! We saw the photos posted online and it seemed nice enough for a cheaper price. Don't let looks deceive. This place looks original 1956. It is not Art Deco. It is just old And outdated. When we tried to cancel or reservation the manager said if Expedia would allow us to cancel then he would... More

This is such a unique hotel. It's definitely the south beach experience. Close to everything this is a must stay. They have their own gate to the beach and a short walking distance to wonderful bars and restaurants.

the stay was really bad! the hotel does not match the description on the website and absolutely not worth its cost. the top floor room we paid about $ 300 a day (without breakfast) was small, with a sickening smell, the bathroom was full of mold. during our 5 days stay the room was cleaned only once, the sheets and... The entire stay was enjoyable! The manager Ismael and the staff were helpfull and courteous with everything. No breakfast, no free wifi. Great location, 2 minute walk from Lincoln Road and from the beach.

This is a hotel you'll remember because it's so different from boring international establishments. While not the newest or the most glamorous place, the hotel's perfect if one wants to spend time in Miami Beach. The location is great for walking along the promenade, or for shopping. The standard bedrooms are not big, but very comfortable and we loved the... More

I booked the Richmond for a wedding I was attending during the weekend of April 17, 2015. Based on recent reviews I decided to cancel my reservation and stay elsewhere. I neglected to inform the wedding party of my plans. On the first day I was to stay there the bride's mother informed me she had dropped a guest bag... More

Mused Miami as a stop off. I'd been to Miami beach before, but decided to stay a bit further north than last time. What a great little find! Great rooms with a spectacular view of the beach. Only reason it doesn't get a 5 star was that there wasn't really a restaurant on site. Saying that, that's not uncommon and... More

My husband selected this hotel based on the location, which is fabulous. It's on the beach and a quick walk, bike or bus to all of the great restaurants and the art deco district. The Richmond is a quaint, boutique hotel. The decor is a little tired, but that doesn't bother me. The areas that needed help were the paper-thin... More
