we chose this hotel because it was in front of the beach, was relatively cheap, includes breackfast and had kitchen and fridge, which was great as we have two small children. the hotel is pretty old, not well mantained, the breakfast was ok but you better go early to have it so you can enjoy all the things they offer.... more

The hotel was alright..and I mean alright. It was not filthy but it could have been cleaner. house keeping was horrible. we had to call several times 4 them to clean our bathroom and bring us towels. didnt eat or buy drinks there ended up there because our original hotel Haddan hall was a complete dump! more

I stayed at this hotel in May with a group of friends. I was extremely disappointed. The hotel was dirty and run down; my room smelled like cigarettes and wet socks and the amenities were subpar. The garbage bins outside near the pool were overflowing with trash; the breakfast buffet served stale bread, old fruit and mush which was passed... more

We welcome constructive feedback from all our valued guests. South Florida’s warm, sub-tropical climate is considered the primary attraction for many of the area’s visitors. As typical in sub-tropical regions, South Florida is subject periodically to high humid conditions to which some visitors are more sensitive than others. Marco Polo management has been able to address these concerns as they...

We were guests at your resort on May 27, 2009 until May 31, 2009. The hotel stinks like a public rest room. Every time we called room service they were never available. I could understand that our cocktails were served in plastic cups outside at the pool bar. However, I had to go down to the bar inside the resort... more

Dear Sandie, As you are aware we received a copy of your letter with your comments concerning your stay of which we addressed all of your issues, but, unfortunately not to your liking. During the daytime, cocktails and room service are delivered from the Pool Snack Bar where, unfortunately, due to safety reasons (because of the pool area), we cannot...

My husband and I stayed at this resort for 4 nights in May. We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary. The hotel was not one of the big, fancy hotels where you pay for the name. It was however, a nice, clean hotel located right on the beautiful Sunny Isles Beach. The staff was pleasant , the concierge service was... more

My girlfriend and I had a great stay. First, let me say this. This hotel is NOT South Beach. This is a quiet place to escape. If you want quiet nights with relaxing days on the beach...this is the place. We stayed 4 nights in a partial ocean view room (which really is full ocean view...all it means is that... more

Dear Suthie, We appreciate your comments concerning your recent stay at the Ramada Plaza. Dining and drinking outside is absolutely fantastic. There is nothing better than to see the ocean waves, the clear blue skies and to the feel the fresh air and the warmth of the sun; unfortunately being outside where people walk barefooted and near the pool area...

I spent the weekend in Miami, because I was in the States for work. On Monday, I had a flight to Central America and I thought it would be a great idea to rest at the "fantastic" place - according to their website. However it was the worst experience I had in Miami. The staff from front desk was horrible,... more

The Miami Beach area no longer has kosher, Sabbath observant hotels, but the Marco Polo is a viable alternative. There are several kosher restaurants and food stores nearby in the Waterways complex in nearby Aventura, and south of the hotel along Collins Avenue. The Chabad-North African Sefardic synagogue located in the lower level hotel shopping mall offers Sabbath meals and... more

This hotel stay became the biggest disappointment of our Florida vacation. 1) We showed up at 4:30 pm hoping that the ocean front view room we reserved a month in advance would be ready (the check in time is 3pm). It wasn't. 2) In 30 minutes we got our room keys. The room was really shabby and was facing a... more
