Good choice for decent price in a good location. Walking distance to everything - nightlife, cafes, beach. Staff was friendly & helpful. The building is old & the elevator is slow. Just stayed here this past weekend and loved it. The rooms are lovely. The location is great, right on the beach and the main SoBe drag. This hotel was a great value compared to all the others I looked at in South Beach. The location was perfect just across from the beach and the front porch offered great people watching on Ocean Drive with my morning coffee/evening mojito. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff, I'd absolutely stay again. more

We were pleasantly surprised with Winterhaven. Set amongst all the art deco hotels we felt like we had found a gem. Nothing to complain about at all. Close to everything. Rooms clean and crisp. omg the worse experience i have ever had! the rooms were small, not clean, pictures on line were not the actually room, Twin size beds! restroom were small, customer service was horrible,HIDDEN CHARGES was applied to my card, front desk could not explain hidden fees, 5 charges on my card that no one could explain, hotel was jus plain horrible!!... more

The Winterhaven is a good choiceas a base to explore MIami Beach. The hotel is located at the quieter end of Ocean Drive and is in easy walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is not one of the more impressive hotels in Ocean Drive, but that is reflected in the price!!... more
