We stayed at the Raleigh for four nights in June. As anyone can see reading the different opinions illustrated in the reviews of The Raleigh, this hotel is not for everyone. If you're into noise and partying all night and a general feeling of the usual SOBE chaos, go elsewhere. But if you want a beautiful hotel with excellent service,... more

I was in Miami for a conference so I needed to stay in a particular location. The Raleigh was in a very convenient location and backed up to a really nice beach. The hotel itself was somewhat old and could use some updating. The rooms were very small, which is probably par for the course in South Beach. I wasn't... more

We stayed at the Raleigh for a bachelorette weekend and were immediately given great service from the valet, to an room upgrade with free champagne. The room was huge and had an amazing shower with 2 shower heads (the size of a walk in closet just for the actual shower!). The staff was friendly at the pool and even got... more

Lovely hotel, everyone there was friendly and helpful! From front desk, Alexandra to poolside, Pamela, to restaurant, Trent. They will coddle and spoil you. Marvelous coffee shop, room service, restaurant and bar. Concierge made an appointment for a haircut and it turned out great. This small hotel is perfect for a solo traveler, romantic getaway, or a small family. The... more

My partner and I just returned from staying five days at the Raleigh. I have previously stayed at the Sagamore (cold, anemic, terrible staff), and the Delano, and thought i might try the Raleigh, as I have been a guest at Balaz's other hotels in New York and LA. He understands how to create a chic environment without the pretense... more

First of all, I never write reviews for ANYTHING, but The Raleigh Hotel more than deserves a stellar review! According to my husband I am having “Raleigh Withdrawals” ((as I am already planning how to make our next trip back!)) We could not have dreamed of having a better 2 year anniversary than we had at The Raleigh! The genuine... more

This is by far the best hotel in South Beach! The hotel is a beautiful representation of what the art deco hotels of South Beach were and should be. Fully restored to it's original decor. Very clean!!!! It is large enough to accommodate your needs without being too large or too small. It's just the right size. The service is... more

The Raleigh is so wonderful I wish I could move into one of their rooms! This is not a chain hotel so don't expect that kind of bland, generic high-end feel. The Raleigh is much more stylish than any chain. And don't expect the style to smack you over the head-- it's very subtle like a pair of Prada pants.... more

For the price there was no information upon checking into the hotel about any of the amentities. The customer service was horrible for how much we paid to stay at the hotel. The whole 15 - 18 % tip added to each bill is ridiculous and on top of that get bad customer service. The south beach isn't worth the... more

We spent a night at the Raleigh last week and absolutely loved it! The hotel has a great, old-school vibe - very unique. It's the outdoor area that blew us away - it must be the most beautiful pool in South Beach! And it's so relaxing and calm - the palms are enormous, there are orchids everywhere and the lounge... more
