Nice place, it seems you get in New York. A lot of people and a lack of place... Hotel has been working since 1940.. The building looks like historical museum - all furniture came from last century (except LCD TV and sleeping bed). All stuff were very friendly. I want to say many THANKS to lobby manager Eugenia. She is... More

The property is not a 4 star rated hotel, maybe 3 star at best. All common areas, elevators and rooms need renovating. Small rooms and very old decor. The pool and staff are the best attributes to the facility. Over priced for what you get. Go look at the National Hotel and see what a recently renovated hotel looks like.

Unfortunately, I have to give an otherwise nice stay at a fun hotel a DO NOT GO rating, based on the phony charges that they have added to my bill. First, they tried to charge my room for overnight parking. We didn't have a car. Second, they tried to charge my room for a missing robe. Nobody took the robe.... More

The Raleigh exceeded our expectations. They were accomodating and welcoming. From the coffee bar in the lobby to the bellman, they were excellent. They even arranged for special accommodations for our daughter's food allergies during her stay. The vibe was chic and hip enough for parents, but kid-friendly enough for our children to romp in the waves and at the... More

We stayed in The Loft, which is accessed via the penthouse. Once you enter the room, you walk up a beautiful staircase to the bedroom and bathroom, both of which have double doors that enter onto a wrap around terrace with ocean and city views. Absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that the terrace was very sparsely decorated and could... More

We really enjoyed our stay here for three nights. The staff were very accommodating and the food was truly amazing. The only drawback would be maintenance issues given it is an old building but all problems were quickly and courteously dealt with. The windows have been double glazed and there was construction going on next door and you honestly could... More

The Raleigh offers direct beachfront access, has the best pool in South Beach as well as competitive pricing on rooms. The rooms are not fancy, I've stayed in the nicest there as well as the standard ones and they are clean but dated. Drinks are good, beach food/drink service is good, one block walk to Lincoln Rd and the valet... More

Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us. The Raleigh's beachfront access, poolside and oasis area are definitiely some of the defining attributes of our art deco property. The location, just two blocks from Lincoln Rd and a few blocks more from Ocean Dr is perfectly strategic. We're thrilled that you enjoyed our facilities and all the amenties that... More

I had a wonderful two night stay at the Raleigh March 2014. One night was with my kids and the other was not. The pool area is wonderful, cozy and well staffed. The beach is obviously enormous but the service for chairs, drinks was great. The room was smallish, but styled well. My main complaint would be the bathroom… I... More

We have stayed at the Raleigh several times before and returned recently for a special occassion. The staff could not have been more accomodating and helpful. Ulike many of the other big, loud South Beach hotels this one is pure understated elegance. The Raleigh is a South Beach gem!

We just spent five days staying at the Raleigh and had a wonderful time. Of course the pool area was very beautiful, and the water nice and warm. The surroundings are lush and inviting. Access to the very open, clean beach (just steps away) was easy and direct, and we enjoyed free lounge chairs as guests of the Raleigh. All... More
