I stayed at Fontainebleau for a week in october. I was there for a conference and stayed a few extra days for pleasure. The hotel is very trendy. I stayed in the Sorrento Suite on 19th floor. It was very spacious and my view was great. The bed was very comfortable and loved the flat screen tv. The suite had... more

We are in the "largest one bedroom suite" . It is small and cramped and the finishes are dated. Where did the billion dollars go. The service is poor and uncaring, One of the worst places to stay near South Beach. Totally overpriced!!!! Try the new W hotel. SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. more

We spent 4 nights at the Fontainebleau, sleeping in a suite in the Tower Tresor at the 32nd floor. If you plan to stay at this Tower ask for a high floor otherwise the view is covered by the nearby building (Sorrento). The view from our room was breathtaking, the ocean on a side and the city on the other,... more

My mother and sister in law and I traveled to Miami for our second annual girls trip in October. We stayed at a different hotel last year but after the experience we had at the Fontainebleau this time we will be coming back here next year! Loved the Bleau bar. It was the perfect place to have a drink before... more

We searched for a luxury hotel on South Beach, and we were not disappointed. From the beautiful chandeliers, to the pool, this hotel had it all. Our room was immaculate and overlooked the beach. I was traveling with my daughter and daughter-in-law and we plan to return. The Bleu Bar was exceptional. One of our highlights was the sushi bar,... more

I stayed at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach over the Labor Day weekend and the trip was good until the last night that we were there. I accidentally left my camera in the car. It was stolen from my car after I checked into the valet service. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect them to replace the camera but... more

We only stayed for three nights but that was enough to see where all the renovation money went. The hotel looks really nice and both the room and common areas were up to our expectations (given the steep price). The only thing that some might dislike is the feeling of vastness that the four towers produce now that the new... more

Yeah, good ol' James Bond, who spent some time on these premises at the time of Goldfinger probably would not come back here even in his more recent, less glamorous incarnations. The hotel is huge, the restoration has been recently completed but the charme is gone. This must be the most cramped pool I've been at in a long time.... more

I rented a Junior suite for my birthday weekend. The room was a good size but awkwardly laid out. The carpet in my room was sticky from what I dont know. The room had nice amenities, a large flat screen tv, an iMac, beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi tub, and even an tv in the bathroom. The view i had from... more

Having read many negative reviews regarding service and pricing and pool scene, we were pleasantly surprised how wonderful our stay was at The Fontainebleau. There for a conference, so reduced corporate room rate. Honestly, everyone we dealt with - from the welcome at the entry, reception, beach guys who got our chaises/umbrellas/towels, pool service people, gym reception, bar tenders, waiters,... more
