This summer my wife and I traveled to South BEach. We saw bueatiful pictures of the Art Deco hotel.. the Catalina. Me and my wife had a blast there. From check in to check out everything went smooth. The bar was always crowded at night time and they served complimentary drinks nightly from 7-8. the beach is located literally 1... More

Well I booked a 4 star 'mystery hotel' through a web site which was an excellent price as we were staying in Miami for one night before going onto a cruise ship to visit my daughter who is a dancer on there. Once booked the site released the name of the hotel.... can you imagine my horror once I looked... More

We stayed there in the summer 2008, it was 5 of us. Rooms were nice & clean, location excellent, just 1 block from the beach, 5 min walking distance, close to clubs & shoppind area. Guys at the bar were fun to talk to, were really polite & helpful. Expensive ammenities, but it's like everywhere in the hotels. Nice restaurant... More

Our experience at the hotel worked out much better that we had hoped....we wanted to take one day to have some fun in this city we love so much, as we were staying for a week at a resort 90 minutes north. The Hotel's "beach access" was one of the main reasons we booked here - and it worked out... More

We ended up staying at the Maxine after a quick mix-up at the front desk. Our original reservation was in the Catalina, but we were upgraded for a $50 fee. Our room was actually very nice. Large with a separate sitting space. The pool at the Maxine is also very relaxing. The location of the Catalina was ok. Five-ten minute... More

The website displays a good looking hotel but it's not true. Rooms: red walls, DIM lighting, lack of amenities, towels are dirty Service: called for towels and had to wait 15-20 long...had to call several times. No smiles at front desk. Room security is minimal... Cleanliness: BUGS IN ROOM!

WOW, What can I say about this hotel...The staff was excellent very well informed and curtious. The restaurants and bars we excellent, great foods and needless to mention the Daily Happy Hour. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. We will most definitely stay there again next summer.
