The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right on the beach, and our room had a lovely balcony that looked out over the ocean. We were escaping from Midwest cold and were delighted with the view--definitely worth paying more for. The beach is very nice, with hard working employees to set up your beach chairs and... More

Stayed at this property multiple nights in Feb 2014. Breakfast was a bit disjointed but complete and full buffet was the way to go, sitting poolside an excellent bonus I recommend to all. Rooms are solid, beds comfortable, great nights sleep, and best of all the internet service was top notch. For a business traveler looking for a getaway while... More

Has character and history. Much better than the usual shoebox hotels that I'm accustomed. Had a balcony, watched next door's condo being renovated. Room was fine. Elevators were a little slow, no big deal. Lobby is open aire and spacious. Lots of tables and conversation groupings. Just outside is the patio and pool. Pool is beautiful and a tad tight... More

The hotel itself was nice, my husband and I left the kids with Grandparents to slip away for 2 night to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We were able to use points for the room, but were charged an additional $69 a night to be in the tower closest to the ocean and another $32 a night to park the car... More

Marriott needs to differentiate between ocean view and ocean front!! Sold room as ocean front at premium price and actually an ocean view with about 60 degree view. Also Marriott should note when construction is going on next door. Realize they don't control, but view and quiet definitely disrupted by the construction!! In town with wife for just 2 nights... Dear Jerry M, Thank You for staying at our property. We apologize for any inconvenience the neighboring project work may have had on your stay. We have seen that most days are limited with the amount of noise, but see from your picture that you had a great view of the ocean. We hope that you provide us a second... More

Stayed at the "Cadillac" for a week during the recent Miami International Boat Show. Rooms are OK but nothing special. I would recommend the new tower. Huge dichotomy between various staff members. The front desk, bell and valet staffs are excellent. Really well above what you would expect at a Courtyard. The food service and bar staffs are pretty bad.... More

Only had a 2 night stop over between San Diego and UK but found staff helpful, good size corner room overlooking road at front (some traffic noise) but noisy air extractors under only opening side window made it impossible to get fresh air and air conditioning unit was noisy when shutting down, causing disturbed sleep. Breakfast was ok and reasonably... More

Location is great, right at the beach and 45 minutes walk to South Beach, Lincoln Road. However it is VERY expensive. They milk you to the last cent. Umbrellas and chairs at the beach are not free, and it is not advertised anywhere that they will charge you, so I asked the guy at the beach for 2 chairs and... More

I feel its about customer service especially if you are a rewards member for a certain hotel. The location great and pool area very nice, but thats where my good experience ends. I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton and Surfcomber in Miami and all showed better service. We arrived early and we asked to please call us when room... More
