*Beware of this Hotel* 5 night stay Location was good. We got catfish. Pictures on the website are not the same as what the hotel looks like in person. From day one we started having issues. We killed one or two roaches every day. Key card had to get reactivated every day. Front desk was not 24hr. They do not have breakfast even though it says "Breakfast Included" We had a bad storm one night and the ceiling started leaking from the ceiling light. They put us in another room to sleep for the night but never bother to check the room to see if any damages. Didn't even bother to ask if everything was OK. Overall, they suck and need to be shut down or fined. Do not do what I did and ignore the negative comments because I did. I don't like leaving any negative comments but this place is not what it looks like. Rooms: Not what is on website

This place was awful, the bed was on the floor, no bath towels, tv didn’t work, Roaches in the rooms, bathroom had half of glass, floors in the room dirty, and I really don’t understand why they are still open, the pictures they show and fake, the rooms are not what the pictures on the internet show, please if you have small children a roach might get in the child’s ear, nose, or mouth, I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even my enemy,

I HAD the worse experience. The hotel is not in good conditions, everything is broken. There's a security guy that is useful. When I arrived and saw the room inmediately ran away with my family. They send an email saying they will not charge, booking also said that BUT THEY CHARGED ME $180 DOLARS anyway. Please, never book this hotel.

The hotel is recognisable from the photos but time has taken its toll. The place is a bit worse for wear these days and the sign advising guests not to smoke pot on the premises says a lot. On the plus side, the hotel is close to Ocean Drive and the beach. It is tolerable but not cheap for one night but my travelling companions have been charged 3 times for their room and no one answers the phone. The place is run down, the guy on reception is scruffy and as for breakfast, bit of a joke really. I have no idea how it compares to others in the locality but on an absolute basis the place is grim and low grade.

I booked my reservation for 8/22/22-8/28/22 I tried calling the hotel for 3 consecutives days prior before my arrival no one ever picked up the telephone. when I arrived at the hotel there were these creepy looking guys sitting at the picnic area with their feet on the table no one was sitting at the front desk. Long story short my room was in the basement when I entered my room there were bugs on my bed and there were bugs flying everywhere in the room. I did not feel safe in that hotel I canceled my reservation immediately. Ladies do not go to this hotel alone

· The start to my cruise vacation was not PLESANT TO SAY THE LEAST To start the entrance to the hotel was not the best looking. The reception desk and surroundings looked like someone's old furniture that they were throwing out and the hotel picked up. It was old, cluttered, and dusty and just unprofessional. The sitting area at the front of the hotel reminded one of a motel instead of a hotel in the highly talked about Miami area. The check in was smooth to say the least. There is no elevator so I had to climb 2 flights of stairs with 2 large suitcases and 2 tote bags. The carpet entrance on the 2nd floor nd all the way down the 2nd floor hallway was terrible. It was so dirty and stained that I cant see why the hotel has not pulled it up. Upon entering the double queen the paint was mismatch and chipping, it smelled like cigarettes and moldy, the bathroom was dated and rusting, the sink fixtures where wobbly and rusted, the bathtub was not fit to bathe or shower in because it looked dirty and strains of hair where found inside and around it, The toilet ran consistently. The bedding boarders where dirty and stained so I refused to sleep in the sheets and covers provided. I went and bought sheets and a blanket to sleep on for my one night stay. The AC unit was hard to figure out. The WIFI and tv channels barely came in clear. I refused to walk around barefoot because the floor wasn't clean. There is no iron or ironing board and no coffee pot. The gentleman at check in did mention breakfast but I dare not with the hotel conditions as they were out of fear. This whole hotel needs to be remodeled. This is very unacceptable and deceiving to me as a customer and any who decides to stay here. I paid $200+ for a one night stay in these conditions when I should have fought it and went elsewhere. I was and still am very disappointed with this hotel and if I could have cancelled as soon as I seen the conditions I would have. SAD, TERRIBLE HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MIAMI

Classic bait and switch. They show pictures of a decent ro but they must only have one room that looks like that. The room I had was disgusting! First, the smell in the room was like bleach and funk. The walls are chipped and peeling, light switches are not properly mounted- and that is just the beginning. The switch for the table lamp was broken so I had to unplug it to turn it off. The toilet was loose, the water was lukewarm at best. The TV remote was held together by electrical tape. Avoid this place at all costs! Read the other reviews!

Alright listen up for the truth. I am a hipster. I enjoyed staying at the Harrison. If you are a hipster, I think you will like it too. If you are any kind of precious or high maintenance, you won't like it. This is a shabby hotel. The paint is chipped and fading. The amenities are not luxurious. The courtyard and lobby furniture is old and mismatched. The hotel does not conform in any way to what you would expect from typical, standard or predictable chains of hotels. So it's unique, charming and interesting for people who like that sort of thing. The service was perfectly helpful and polite. I was able to store my luggage before check-in and after checkout too. It has a good location. Perfectly okay place to sleep when you're not out enjoying South Beach.
