We were recommended this hotel by a travel company. Having checked out Tripadvisor I called ahead to the hotel to confirm that it was a child friendly hotel as it looked mostly suitable for couples. They reassured us we decided to book it. It is a lovely hotel and looks out of place on Washington Ave as it's so pretty.... More

Stayed for six nights at end of October and found the Anglers to be a real gem of a hotel. Our room was immaculate with modern minimalist decor always maintained to the highest standards. The staff could not have been more helpful always prepared to give of their time and make us feel very welcome. Continental breakfast was included and... More

We stayed in the two story room in the tower that has a bed and full bath upstairs, and living area and half bath downstairs. The upstairs bedroom was so small that there was barely room to open our suitcases. We sometimes had to crawl across the bed to move around the room. The living area is down a spiral... More

We chose this hotel on the basis of so many positive Tripadvisor reviews... and how right they were! The Washington Ave location means the hotel is two blocks from the beach and Ocean Drive (about 10 minutes' walk), and one block from the Collins Ave shopping district (5 minutes). The Lincoln Ave shopping district is probably a good 20 minutes'... More

I wish I could capture with pictures how lovely this hotel was from the staff, to the service, to the location to the cleanliness it was all wonderful. Yes the pool was small, but it was nice, it was like an oversized jacuzzi. It was definitely worth the extra money. The hotel was in a quiet area off the strip... More

This boutique hotel is perfect! Excellent location just 2 blocks off Ocean drive, with everything close by, but not the noise!. The rooms are wonderful, spacious and perfect beds to cure the jet lag and offer everything you may need, including I pod docking station, flat screen TV's etc. The Angler's was our starting point of our 2 week Florida... First of all I have to say that my wife chose this hotel, so all credit goes to her excellent choice ! From the moment we turned up and the Friendly valet parked the car we knew we were in good hands. Friendly courteous staff and what a hotel, the perfect blend of the old building and a new funky... From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty, this is a small and very personable hotel that treats everyone like stars. We were at the front desk and the General Manager did not want us to wait so he had the cook make us some lemon moquitos to set the mood. This hotel treated us so well... More

My husband and I vacationed in South Beach for my 30th birthday. The first hotel we stayed at billed itself as a European spa. When we checked in we found a dirty bed, dirty carpet, an view of a rundown apartment building, to name a few of our disappointments. We have never hotel switched before, but because this was a...
