This hotel has the most discussing rooms. The carpet is so dirty I could not tell what color it was. The bathroom had tooth paste on the sink and shower had not been cleaned. The room smelled of a strong mold order. The door handle come off in my hand when I closed it. Great location right on the beach.... More

The rooms are old and not very clean, however the staff is great, specially the blonde lady at the reception. The breakfast is by far the worst I've seen in a hotel, but the swimpool is great and the beach is right there if you prefer. You are allowed to make your own barbecue at the pool. It's very nice... It's strange how a lot of the reviews praising this hotel sound similarly written. I have it 1 star because Trip Advisor wouldn't let me go lower. Where do I start: funny smells (funny as in disgusting, not haha funny), mold, carpets not clean... visibly, OLD EVERYTHING, rude desk workers, disgruntled/rude maids, sur conditioning broken, room didn't have an iron/ironing... Blood smatterings on the headboard (sign of bed bugs). A creepy, flickering light in the bathroom. A musty smell. Not to mention the malfunctioning elevator. The second day the elevator reeked of spoiled...tuna fish. While the pictures of the pool look nice, the pool area is shabby, too. The pool umbrellas are moldy. Jeesh! Don't get excited about the location... More

This hotel caters mostly to airline personnel. Located right on the beach with a beautiful pool and lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is a landmark art deco structure that has been well maintained. There is a restaurant and bar on premises and the most helpful staff you can find any ware. there is free internet and a library on... More

That is the only word that best describes this hotel, when you walk into the lobby, it's like what the heck, there is so much furniture looks like they could open up a homeless shelter. Got a room in the north tower as soon as you exit the elevator, the carpet is yes you know it, gross, I don't think... More

What a great hotel! The location is great, many restaurants, bars, shopping and grocery stores within steps. Of course the best part is the beach, directly in back of the building. There is a relaxing swimming pool, BBQ grills and even a vending matching selling beers. South beach is just a short 5 minute drive or you can take the... More

I was really worried based on prior reviews. I just called them and explained my concerns as my family was coming and I wanted to stay in a nice room. They explained that with the high turnover, some rooms aren't cleaned as thoroughly, but if you just let them know they will accommodate. In other words, they were very well... More

Opened the door, the smell was most unpleasant. Asked housekeeping for air freshener, she gave me lemon scented furniture polish. I was so desperate, I used it.....a lot of it. Walked in and was met by an absolutely filthy carpet. I felt so very, very nasty. Black stuff looking like mold in the bath tub, all kinds of spills on... More
