I am appalled at the service at Cass Casurina. My hotel had advised not to go there for dinner, but my mom wanted to dine in Versace's mansion - so we went. BIG mistake. The former Versace Mansion Casa Casuarina has been sold to a New Italian Restaurant in the Las Olas Area of Ft. Lauderdale named Bova Prime, they do your basic pastas and it doubles as a steakhouse. There is also a Private Social Club with members that pay 50,000 dollars to join. more

We found the Versace mansion website and found out that it was a hotel too! Lucky us. There are only ten rooms which makes it much more intimate than other SoBe hotels I've stayed at and it created an experience unlike any other. Staff incredible, food great, rooms unbelievable and to swim in Versace's pool is one of those moments... more

Stayed at Casa Casuarina for a weekend. The hotel is expensive but no more than the majority of other luxury SOBE hotels.
