My friend and I stayed here on a 3 day/2 night trip. We were looking for a place with direct beach access, close to nightlife, and a reasonable price. This hotel did have direct beach access (and a nice pool area), it was not in the middle of the nightlife scene, it was a reasonable price. Cabs to South Beach are... more

Just recently stayed at this alright hotel. Cute pool setting and few steps away from the beach, the room was a comfortable size. The rooms have a door to gain entry to another room if you booked double rooms or whatever, but this is annoying cause you could hear everything in the next room; if you could hear them they... more

Needed a reasonably priced place to stay for 2 nights that was a short driving distance fom the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall. Found the Mimosa to be clean and convenient, the room adequate, and the bed comfortable. Caveats: (1) I obtained a "studio"-sized room, which isn't really studio-sized -- the standard room must be quite tight. (2) I was lucky... more

The room was very clean & nicely styled. Jacuzzi in the room, nice bathroom, great fridge. Pool area was gorgeous and you could walk straight out onto the beach. The walls were thin & we were woken up early on the first morning by lots of loud young American girls talking about what they did last night and what they... more

Initially I was a little shocked by the size of the room, but after staying at another hotel 10 days later, I realized the difference was just an illusion caused by an entry way(not usable space) which a lot of rooms have but ours at Mimosa did not. The decor was very classy, neutral colors -creams and browns. I slept... more

Just returned from a pleasant stay at the Mimosa. Had spent some time looking at other reviews so had some concerns!! Here goes.... The hotel is extremely well kept and clean. The rooms are as described and the pictures accurate. I must agree with others that the walls between the rooms are thin??!! We had a guy in the next... more

TThe good: For a short stay (2-3 nights) this hotel does the trick. It was inexpensive and for less than $200/night, you get a very clean room, good service, and a location right on the beach. The room (double beds) wasn't big, but it wasn't cramped either (we were 3 adults). The room is minimalist in the decor-- no clutter... more

This was booked purely for location. It is North Collins drive area and near a fantastic magic show. It has it's own car park at $20 per day directly over the road. We parked 100m away in pay and display at approx 20 cent per 20 mins. You have to pay till 6pm and after that is free. The hotel... more

Four ladies stayed a room with two double beds. The rooms were spacious and the bath was nice with great smelling products. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. When we called for additional towels they were there in two minutes. Everyone was very nice. We extremely enjoyed the pool and cabana. This was an excellent place to... more

first of all the room I booked directly from the resort was an oceanfront room and I specifically asked if the room had a jacuzzi tub...the guy at reservations guaranteed that there was...when I got there, yes...the view was gorgeous but the tub was a regular size jetted tub. I called front desk right away and complained about that and... more
