Really lovely welcome from taey (not sure if I spelt that right) she was so friendly and helpful...really lovely. Housekeeper also very helpful. The rest of the experience was not good. Our private room was very, very overpriced, poor bathroom with no shower-head, rough old towels and generally very tired surroundings. Very loud a/c, uncomfortable bed, no room facilities. The... We stayed at the Tropics Hotel the night prior to a cruise. The price is low, property one street in from the beach and the front desk staff is exceptional. The rooms are dated but clean. The lobby and pool are nice. There is no restaurant on site but nice restaurants nearby and the "restaurant row" which is a pedestrian... More

This was by far the cheapest hotel we could find in Miami, whilst still pricey for a hostel it was great value in comparison. Fantastic location, walking distance to Ocean Drive etc. The room was surprisingly good, decent bed and clean with private ensuite. Helpful staff on the desk too.

This is my third time here, so they must be doing something right. Every time I go back to Miami, I look for alternatives but so far have been unable to find anything in our price range with this sort of location. Service is good, shared areas are good, location is fab as easy walk to Lincoln Road, cinema, beach,... More

This hotel is excellent located and has a shared kitchen where you can store your food at the huge fridge they have you just have to put it within some bags with your name, it has a nice pool the only bad thing is that installations are pretty old and elevator is pretty slow, I hope someday they can make... This hotel/hostel is in a great location, the beach is just across the road & it is in the centre of South Beach. If you are just looking for a room, then this place is great. We got a private room for a couple of nights & the bed was comfy but it definitely has an 80's feel to it,... More

I really loved this hostel/hotel. As a solo traveler it was perfect except for the two women living in shared girls dorm. Just check for their presence because one is a cancerous, coughing, pillow stealing polar bear. The other woman chewed me out for waking her up..while standing naked and toweling herself off. Just not a comfortable situation. The front... More

My gf and i used a private room with 2 queen beds. The price was cheap (compared to other good hotels around there. It wasnt that cheap if you only look at the price) but our room was dirty with super old and ugly furnitures and the bathroom was as dirty as public bathrooms in subway stations. You can see... It´s an ugly, dirty, hostel... noisy. You can do better choice in MIAMI, even if you dont have so much money to spent... but, see the pics that many people have post here.... It´s the real thing... This should be closed.....
