Very poor motel standard, but clean to stay, at a good location, with decent guests. More of student hostel profile with private rooms. Security is very good and staff are very helpful and friendly. Also to be fair most of South Beach Hotels had the same moderate 60's style small hotels with the exceptions of few fancy ones.

We (wife, self and 2 other couples) stayed one night pre-cruise, had a wonderful time. Very clean and comfortable, good location, close to beach, Lincoln Rd mall, great shops and food. Nothing fancy, but very good value for money. A big plus is the central courtyard for a quite evening drink with friends, or to just check your e-mail. Safe... More

There are multiple aspects to staying in any hotel. The main things I look for are: clean, quiet, good location, and price. I don't care if the place has a piano in the entrance. POSITIVE: The place was quite clean, the location was very good, the manager was helpful. But in terms of service, how do you give it 4... More

This is more of a 4.5 star review. We had 5 friends staying in a 1 bedroom apartment at Hotel 18 and it fit us all very comfortably. There was a queen size bed, a pullout couch, and a rollaway bed, along with plenty of room to sleep on the floor if you needed. The rooms were very clean, and... More

Amazing location, heart of South Beach, easily accessible to Lincoln Road, Collins, Ocean Drive, the beach, and Washington Avenue. Decor is great, rooms were clean and had everything we needed and the kitchenette was a great feature, microwaves in hotel rooms should be a necessity everywhere! Service was great too, the check-in receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We disembarked... More

Cozy. Updated. Furnished. Centralized location. Good service. Great value/rate. GM is very efficient and personable. Kitchenette. Separate, private bedroom. Complete bathroom. Full living room. Homey. Mostly young students from overseas. You get your own parking spot.

We stayed in a one bedroom flat which had a lounge with sleeper couch so four of us stayed here. For the price and location it was well worth it. The flat itself was decorated very nicely and the kitchen was very clean and all the utensils were practically new. The sleeper couch was comfortable and the bed in the... More

I guess you get what you pay for, and this hotel was pretty cheap. Good location. Quiet. Clean, but small rooms. Kitchenette. Great for sleeping. If you are looking for wild pool parties, you should look elsewhere.

Hotel18 is very well located -- a 2-block walk to the beach and 2 blocks from Lincoln Road's shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is quiet and peaceful with a nice courtyard. Our room had a fridge, a freezer, a toaster and a stove which was perfect for us! We saved money by eating breakfast in our room. The staff... More

It's a great place to stay. 3 blocks from a beautiful beach! Good location, clean, super well-equipped, modern and with very kind and professional staff who care about the guests. It has parking (paid as everywhere). They kept a suitcase till we came back from NY and when we arrived there was a card and delicious complimentary cookies waiting fro... More
