We stayed here for three nights before our cruise. I dont belive it was a good choice. The location on south beach isnt near anything..we had to drive everywhere..even to get any food at all..I would stay closer to south beach if i could redo it...plus the streets around it are one way and that is a pain in the... more
BEWARE -I had a horrible experience at the Palms. I went for a run along the boardwalk and came back to find someone had stolen several things from my room. In total, I was robbed of over $3,000 in various personal items. The police suggested it was an inside job. The hotel blew it off as it nothing had happened.... more

it's 11:30 pm and after waking my husband up at 7am this morning to head down to Miami for a surprise birthday gift at The Palms we are checked out already and heading back home. Why?? we checked in at 4pm and by 9pm we had moved to three different rooms, completely missed my husband's birthday party and completely exhausted... more
The whole hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff is very professional and friendly, and the location, right on the beach is perfect. We walked the board walk to South Beach which was not too far, and gave us a welcome amount of exercise. Will definitely consider staying here again. more

I cannot believe that I have had only a few hours sleep in my almost 3 days here. The doors automatically slam and the maids slam them constantly. I have asked the manager, the maids supervisor and the maids themselves to please stop letting the doors slam. They say "ok" and continue to slam the doors. The towel closet is... more
