South Beach Miami is a lively area. Great beaches, nice ART DECO buildings through-out, a middle sized town atmosphere. But the two star hotels seem to generally be un-modernised ART DECO biuldings. And they are not up to modern day standards. I looked into five or six, each charging about 89-99 (plus tax - which is 13%) US Dollars per... More

Just forget it, this Hotel would be worth like 20 Dollars a night. Bad service, unfriendly,[----] up rooms, horrible. Hopefully it will go down soon and shut down forever. November 2006.

Our stay was Terrible. When we arrived our reservation had the wrong rates... Front desk corrected the price and was great to work with. The rooms were terrible. Stayed in a suite and smelled badly and stains all over the wall.. needed to be painted. Had them switch me to a regular room after inspecting two of them. Even though... More

Years earlier 2001 it was great, it has been slowly going down in the past few years. This last visit, we had FILTHY/STICKY carpet, no light in the closet, no wash cloths and this was in a SUITE. We had centipedes crawling on the wall. The bed sagged like a spoon and the walls needed painting sooo bad. The noise... More

Okay, I went here with two other girls for cheap spring break. It was cheap, 300 a person for 6 nights. However, when we walked in we saw stains everywhere, paint was all chipped, there was a leak that looked like it had been plugged with a tissue, but it was obviously coming from upstairs and had been fixed before... Me & my companion stayed at the Fairwind Hotel & Suites on July1-5, 2006 and let me tell you it was the worst hotel I ever stayed. First of all, it's a very old hotel which has 2 buildings & a resturant. The main building is where you check-in, decent looking from the inside but as soon as you check-in... More

we stayed here for 4 nights inc a wkend. upon arrival everything looked ok, the room was a fair size, after reading some comments i was concerned about the cleanliness of the place but it was very clean, inc plenty of towels and toiletries. The location is great for partying, we didnt encounter any problems with noise and definitely wouldnt... More

When we booked our hotel, we were told parking was availabe. On arrival we were informed that they did not have car parking and were directed to a garage across the road at a cost of $25 per day!! Next we went to check in and it seemed that no one on reception knew how to use the system. We'd... More

As with many of the other reviews I have to agree. I arrived on 28th April 2006. We were given a room in second block (not part of the main hotel buliding). Our room was big with a kitchenette and two double beds. The room was clean but the buliding is old and run down with dents on the walls... More

We were put on the first floor. Now, maybe for some people this is acceptable, but we are 2 single 20 something women. There is no chain lock, just the slide card lock. Now, we were coming off a week long cruise, so we were exhausted and just ready to crash. They let us into our room at 11am. There... More
