A friend of mine and I decided to stay here for one night after our cruise. One night was not long enough. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly. We checked in before the check in time, and they said that there was only 1 King bed available, and we had requested 2 beds. They said we can... more

Perhaps it was because we had just spent two great nights at the Fountainbleau.......the Surfcomber is a tourist trap. Our feet stuck to the filthy stairwells. My young adult children would not get in the pool. Big party there on the 10th and 11th of July.. I was told by the desk clerk that the pool had been shocked and... more

The Fourth of July weekend was the wrong time to be at the Doubletree Surfcomer in Miami Beach. They rented their pool area for a mass party and after 1A.M. when the earsplitting music stopped the hotel filled with intoxicated party goers who kept us awake the rest of the night, We checked out the next morning cutting short our... more

I had stayed back at this same hotel yeas ago. and after reading some of the past reviews I was a bit on edge and worried as I made my way to south beach for a 5 day stay with my girlfriend. After getting to the front door I was reminded of how sweet this place really was. The remodeling... more

For a two-day getaway, we stayed at the historic Surfcomber hotel in one of their ocean-view rooms. When I opened the door to the deck that overlooks the pretty blue water of the hotel's pool in the foreground of the sea blue Atlantic, I squealed with delight! The views are simply gorgeous. Our room, on the other hand, was merely... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night in early June. We had a cruise the next day and thought it would be fun to stay there on the ocean for our 7 year old. The location on the beach was great, the room was clean, but the service was terrible, except in the restaurant. South Beach is definitely not... more

We stayed there between June 12-15 and had a great time. We arrived at the hotel at12:30pm expecting to just have them store our luggage and check-in later but we were given our room right away. Unexpectedly ended up getting a pool/ocean view and could not have been happier. The hotel next store is being renovated but they did not... more

I loved this hotel. I stayed there with my wifey and my handicapped daughter. We had a wonderful stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean. I could even receive my mail. During the night, in the lobby they play a chill out lounge kind of music. Thumbs up for this hotel. You guys can go... more

After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect upon arrival so I prepared for the worst. My stay was 05/31-6/2/08. We arrived around 3:30 pm and our room was ready and check-in went smoothly. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful each time that we needed assistance or directions. The parking price is ridiculous at... more
