Had a wonderful vacation, suite had 2 great size bedrooms & bathrooms & large lounge, good kitchen as we did'nt want to eat out every night, super view over Miami City down to Port, Shulas Rest brilliant but not cheap. will be back more

I went to the Alexander to enjoy the beach and relax without any pressures. They had everything I needed, abeautiful beach, pools, convenient bar for sunset cocktails and a fabulous restaurant-Shula's. This hotels main problem is that the units are privately owned and the owners do not always maintain them at all! Our two bedroom unit had stained carpet, the linens were very worn and the pillows were flat and lumpy. Our kids beds had matresses that were thin and had springs poking through them.
