Typical tourist hotel. Good location, close to beach, Lincoln Rd and Ocean Drive. Clean and quite recently redecorated rooms. Mediocre and uninterested service from reception staff. We had some problem with the ventilation one evening (smell from the kitchen), which Wasn't handled in a good way. Compliments to Eric, at the pool area, for great service.

As soon as we arrived to the hotel, we were told to wait due to a change of shift. We did not even get a "hello". We had to wait 20 minutes to get our room. I had to approach the incoming receptionist again to check in. His attitude was also terrible. The room was ok. There were long hairs... More

Thank you for your time to post the review. We strive to make every single guest welcomed and our front office staff is friendly and accommodating. I apologize that we failed to do with you, what we do so greatly. Our website is simple, yet accurate. We do not have a fitness center and neither does it state that. It... More

I came to Miami for a couples getaway. The hotel was in a great location. I was excited for my vacatuon but my experience the first night with the staff was not good. I felt as if the staff was trying to bamboozle us. The hotel offers a free happy hour from 7-8. But what they do not tell you... More

Thank you for your review. Indeed, we are at a great location that offers so much. We have the M bar and lounge that is part of the hotel and where our happy hour specials take place for our guests. The place where you inquired about the happy hour is an outside beach café opened for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.... More

We stayed 3/22-3/26/15. It was an overall enjoyable experience. I booked the Winter package..we got the free room upgrade. We enjoyed our full american breakfasts at the Cafe which is located at the front entrance to the hotel. Lincoln Road Mall is only 2 blocks walk. From the time I booked w/Julie(who was very helpful and nice) to the end... More

We booked a sea view room with extra price. The room is on the end of the corridor, near some kind of machine rooms (not only one room!) which make constant noise 24 hrs p. Day. From the window, which is not sound proof, we got the noise from the ventilation of the next building. The front desk staff were... More

Upon arrival we were confused as to where to park and how we needed to handle our luggage/check-in and such. The front door staff was quick to meet us at our car and direct us as to where to go. He was very courteous. The hotel is not bad at all for the price and location. The pool was great,... More

Thank you for the kind review. Indeed, Collins Avenue is very busy and with limited space for any driveways. We are one of the few hotels on this block that have our own parking lot available for self parking based upon availability. We thank you for choosing the Marseilles hotel and invite you to stay with us in the future. More

I strongly advise against anyone from staying here. Less than 24 hours before arrival, I received an email saying that the pool "may" be closed because they "may" require a city permit for some construction. Upon arrival, we discovered that the pool area clearly has been under construction for a while. This meant not only that there was no pool... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Please accept my sincere apology for any misunderstanding. Our main swimming pool was already opened, however to finalize all stages of the build of the second pool, jacuzzi and bar, all pools are closed until further notice. Also for this reason the beach is accessible only through streets that are... More

I picked this hotel for a short stay in Miami based upon price and location. The pictures shown for the hotel make it look far better than it actually is, don't be fooled. The room was old, outdated and not clean. I was awoken in the middle of the night by a terrible ringing sound, when I tried to call... More

We /family of 4/ had two queen beds, which were soft and sleeping qualtiy was poor. If you stay more than one night don't take a room looking on Collins Ave, since it can be a lots of traffic. Happy hour for cocktails is a good pick. Good breakfast, free only for adults, had to pay for kids??? Free 8... More

We wanted to be in the thick of Miami Beach's action and not have to walk and walk to the beach or to the dining scene. The Marseilles let us do it affordably. A few doors down, hotels like the Delano and Loews charged more than quadruple per night what we paid. I get that in exchange we got smaller... More
