I am on my last night at the Marriott Towne Place Suites in Miami Lakes and as a Marriott Rewards member I am looking forward to my check out. It seems that the standard of service here is "no". Day 2. Front desk: No, we can't supply you with a missing blanket to cover your children's bed. Me: But the... More

Stayed in this hotel during a business trip in the FLL Area. The location is excellent as it is close to two of the major highways in the Miami area as well as many secondary streets that can take you in and out specially during rush hour. The rooms are good for long term stay as they have a kitchen... More

We stayed here for 1 night before heading on a plane back to DC (we had just come up from Key West). We used Marriott points and this was 10K less than Marriott's closer to the airport. This was only about 9 miles from the airport which on a Sunday morning wasn't an issue (if you are leaving on other... More

First off, I can't complain too much. I was able to get a great price at this hotel. But that being said, it is an older hotel and it needs some TLC. The people behind the counter at check-in seem to be more involved in their telephone conversations than helping you check-in or ask about something being in Lost &... More

After flying the last thing myself and my boyfriend wanted to do was run up and down flights of stairs because our room keys didn't work. (Happened 3 times) when we finally got into our room 45mins later all you could do is smell mold. Way to tired to switch rooms again. Being a silver elite member, I do my... More

Stayed for one night must say not impressed at all have two stars for the friendliness of the staff. The room smelt of mold and as you can see from photo I found it above the door. The room wouldn't cool off in bedroom stuck in 70s. Yes it may have been cheap in the 80s but still to have... More

The Good Great location close to Palmetto Expwy, Turnpike and I-75. The hotel was clean, rooms were clean, with a full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, kitchen utensils (plates, cups, knives, forks, etc.). Beds were very comfortable. Liked the work area desk - lots of room for a laptop and papers. Plenty of electric outlets for charging phones etc.... More

After visiting a couple hotels in this area, we tried Towne suites and it has not disappointed so far. Comfortable room, with all the amenities for a vacation. even cooking facilities. The pool is small but suits the purpose very well. Kids love it. Clean, well maintained kitchen in room.

I paid $85 per night, which is about what someone should pay to stay here. Although it appears to be nice and updated, on second glance, the carpets are dirty, fixtures are rusty, etc. The room had a very strong smell, like mold and mildew. The parking is terrible. But the staff was friendly and the sheets were clean and... More

Although I have stayed here an average of five weeks per year, I can no longer recommend TownPlace suites. Two large aggressive dogs barking all day and all night were only part of the problem. The lack of hot water topped it off. I'm crossing this place off of my list. I have given them very favorable reviews in the... More
