The Regency Hotel in Miami gave us an experience we've never had! We booked a room for October of 2014 and prepaid to get a great price. We stayed in this hotel in august 2014 for one night as we were going to Orlando for the rest of our stay in the US the hotel is easy to get to from the airport as there is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport very regular also the stay were so helpful and Polite the rooms... More

When American Airlines offered me a voucher to give up my seat plus hotel and meals, I did not expect a very good hotel. In fact, I expected something fairly down market. I was wrong ! For once we are disappointed to have based our choice on reviews. The room we had here is very old. This place is in great need of renovation. There was not one AC outlet available to connect and reload our computer. Most are situated behind the furniture. And ALL are used. Rickety very old lamps. Poor lighting = depressing atmosphere... I booked the Regency because of it's close proximity and shuttle service to the airport as well as to the cruise port. The Regency was everything we wanted and needed to begin our cruise vacation. I will definitely refer people to this hotel. For my next cruise, I will be staying at the Regency. Everyone was warm and friendly!

From the driver of the shuttle service to the front desk attendant Jorge (warm welcoming person), to the bar tender and waitresses, the entire staff made us feel extremely comfortable and welcomed. We plan to come back to Miami in February and Regency is where we will most definitely be staying. Thank you Regency staff. Your service goes way beyond.
