This adorable, affordable little motel was perfect for us! We stayed here on the way to a cruise. The pool area was clean the rooms were immaculate. Our safe didn't work, despite someone coming to fix it. The hot tub did not bubble and when I asked one of the front desk guys if it did bubble, he replied "NO"... More

As we only stayed for two nights and the rest of the days we spent at my sister's apartment, it was pretty ok. It's quite charming and has free parking. The bathroom was huge with nice hot water and very clean. The bed was pretty nice. Even though it's historic, the hotel could use some renovation. The wooden floor is... More

I loved the complex. Yes, fence around it, yes, crappy breakfast, yes no service. But the buildings and grounds are charming and with a good staff it could be the coolest bnb in Miami. The location is a bit funky but it is central and with uber, a breeze to get anywhere. Our room was super cute with a claw... More

My family stayed here for one night only while traveling to key west. It served its purpose for a nights sleep, but it was not what we expected. The sofa was disgusting (white stains on it that I hate to think what they were), it was very small, and didnt look like the pics in the advertisement. And the worst... More

Where do I start? First of all, the name is misleading. "Historic" has to do with significant events in history. This apartment complex-turned into a hotel complex has nothing historic about it except the age of its buildings. It started with the entry door. There is a diamond-shaped window in the entry door - with no curtain. We had to... More

This hotel consists of several houses converted to rooms in a fenced complex near the river downtown. The 2 bed room we got was large as was the bathroom. The room had a non-functional fireplace next to one of the beds, I would say the decor was overly flowery with floor to ceiling wallpaper and the same for the curtains... More

When arrived at dawn, we were a bit worried about the surrounding. But during the 2-night stay, the apartment complex is quiet and appears to be safe. It is close to highway, downtown, grocery store, and Little Havana. We were surprised by the cleanliness and spacious 2-bedroom apartment (2nd fl.). Living and kitchen area plus 1/2 bath are in the... More

I booked a one night stay here. I had my doubts about making the reservation. Those doubts were confirmed when I walked in to the main office and found a woman screaming she couldn't stay a minute longer and demanding her money back. While the property is indeed historic -- old to be precise, it lacks charm and personality. I've... More
