Gorgeous outside area. Pretty pool and gardens however once in the room it was in dire need of a good clean!! The curtains had what appeared to be blood splattered on them, the floor thick of dust. I'm aware it's an old building and harder to keep clean but the cleaning standards were definitely on the low side. Check in... More

Cheap to say the least, apartments and rooms take your choice never mind the needs, No phones in the room. No WiiFii NoTV in common area. No confirmed reservations, when i tried to call to confirm NO ANSWER Beautiful grounds though great at night the Palm trees are wrapped in lights like Xmas. Security gate left open at night so... Good location near Miami Downtown and lovely furnished rooms. Free secured parking. Breakfast is okay. What I love the most is the garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi. Regarding the comments from other guests I did not have any complaints with the noise though the hotel is right by the highway, no unpleasant smell in the room and my wifi... More

I have a love-hate relationship with the Miami River Hotel LOVE: The price. The apartment's appliances (oven/stove, microwave, full-size fridge, coffee maker, even a blender!). The grounds (pool, sunny and shady areas, nicely kept). The location (about a mile, easy walk, from downtown, and a $20 cab ride from the airport; new Whole Foods within a mile ... sweet!). HATE:... We needed a hotel for a group that was reasonably priced, and close to the Port of Miami for the night before our cruise. This worked for us. Do not venture out after dark, but daytime was fine. The rooms were ok, the pool was a little cool, but a nice area to sit and relax. The free breakfast was... More

Drove up from the Keys for dinner & a show & needed a cheep place to crash. It was convenient, clean, and had all the minimum required necessities. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but it worked. The ceiling fan didn't work and the 21" flat screen tv only was in black & white and had the smallest possible satellite... More

This is the Worst place to stay. Everything below stands. Room were not clean. There were insects in the bedroom. Bathroom was not clean. Staff was not co-operative. Infact they didn't know what they were doing. We spend atleast 2 hours to check in.

Decided to stay a few nights here , it's not as luxurious or modified but it was definitely comfortable the location isn't the best it's in the middle of Downtown, the price was the best thing about it , staff was also very friendly
