It was terrible, worst hotel I ever was. Terrible staff, everything out of order. We only had cold water, toilet didn't work. You couldn't leave the room when getting dark, because of the homeless people and junkies outside. It's just terrible!!!!

The location was excellent, however, hot water is not always available, we spend three of our five days without it. Service is not great (coulnt get an extra towel after requesting it several times), Breakfast is very simple ( coffee and bread), and, yes, the elevator is not 24 hours.

This was the cheapest hotel i came across in the downtown miami area. it wasn't a bad decision either, close to the airport (they give a free shuttle service twice a day), easy access to miami beach via train and bus. theres also a fair amount to do in that area e.g. shopping, restaurants, bay front park etc. Theres someone... A very interesting hotel. I read the reviews completely on here to know what to expect when I got there. Lets just say...ONLY book this hotel if you have to. People have already spoken about the elevator...it's literally pushed up by someone very old school...interesting to watch but closed at night time after midnight. Pros: All in all it was... More

This hotel was chosen as one of cheapest in downtown of Miami. Location is excellent, close to park, metromover. Room is very small, with old furniture, poor air condition, and you hear noice from street during night. The lift is not working in the night, you need use stairs. There is just bed, and table in the room. But one... More

This is a very affordable hotel that has been fixed up and cleaned up to make it very acceptable to the traveller on a budget. Yes it is an old hotel and basic as it comes but it does feature a number of attributes. One is location - near Bayside Park and Enter. Ctr., Downtown, adjacent to hotels at 3... More

The two main points of this old Hotel are the elevator from mid 19th century and the location. The rooms are small , the windows do not open because they are so many times over painted and dirty. The rest of the room and bathroom where clean but I did not feel cozy. Elevator dose not work from 12 AM... More

Manual elevator, really hot, rude or unhappy staff, bad stairs, smallest rooms ever, creepy atmosphere...and they asked why I wanted a refund?!? Are you kidding me? This place is the lowest of the low in downtown Miami. The only reason I would ever stay here is if my car was set on fire and I couldn't walk to a different... More

Slumlord run with no reinvestment back into this dump in 75 years. Should be condemned. Would make a good set for Saw 5. We stayed here for the Miami boat show. Just across the street. Very depressing to discover that the oldest bar in Miami, Tobacco Road is being torn down, but creepy places like this stay? Ugh....won't be back!... More

For the price, Leamington Hotel is still a horrible choice! Unless you are desperate or single and don't mind the "boarding" house feel, STAY AWAY!! Location is right downtown by the cruise ship pier, which is good, if you don't mind staying in the ghetto!! I was terrified in this hotel. We paid for the night but only ended up... More
