Yes the hotel looks a bit old and tired, I had some bleach stains on the carpet in my room, and if you expect to be tended to hand and foot, you should probably choose a 5-star hotel instead. The River Park is conveniently located downtown Miami by 2 different free metromover stations so no car is needed. I received a large sized room for under $70 which included muffins & juice in the morning. The view of the river is magnificent. Wi-fi in the lobby worked fine. more
