This was our fourth stay in Miami and Miami didn't disappoint us one bit. To us it's the best place on earth. Very easy going and a beautiful city! We had a lovely time as we always do and this hotel is not a reflection of Miami. The hotel, on the other hand was a different story. We were supposed... more

This is the worst place that i have been for a vacation, Yes the hotel Riu was very nice, but no mention of the parking charges ( $16 + 18% Gratuity compulsary + 7% tax =$20 per day ) the hotel next door was been renovated, pile driving and drilling all day, eating out was an experience, small shepherds pie,... more

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of our Honeymoon, which all in all was a great trip, except for the stay in this hotel. This is what we found:- 1) The lift didn't come up high enough, so you had to "step" out of it, or trip up on the edge of the floor; 2) Decorating... more

My girlfriends and I went for a "girls weekend" and boy were we disappointed in this hotel! Our first room was dark, dingy, and overlooked moldy buildings across the street. They were nice enough to move us to a "better" room, but once we were in there we were now looking at the bombed out building next door, along w/... more

Just got back from Miami this past weekend and stayed at the Riu Miami Beach. I was a little shocked at the location because they claim to be a South Beach location , but they are far from Ocean Drive and there is really nothing around other than construction and a few hotels. They charge 16.00 per day to park... more

We visited this hotel in April, the first room we were given was dark and dingy, it looked out onto a hotel that was being demolished, and as we were staying for two weeks we asked to be moved. The next day we moved to a room with a tiny view of the sea, but it was better. The Breakfast... more

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It has a lovely pool area and a pleasant reception area. The rooms are a bit out of date but they are clean. It is in quite a good location on the beach. It is a lovely walk along the front to all the restaurants. We stayed in April 2009 and the... more

We stayed for 3 nights prior to our cruise. Upon arrival by taxi our bags were collected and taken into reception where a very friendly and chatty receptionist was waiting to check us in. We were taken to our room which was exactly what you would expect when you pay for a standard room. Clean and comfy. We had complimentary... more
