While looking older on the outside, this hotel is quite comfortable and is located in a safe, cool part of Miami. Our second stay was in the two bedroom suite which was awesome. Nicely decorated with lots of room and two balconies overlooking the tree lined street. Yes it's kind of funky, but that's part of the vibe of Coconut... More

This mediocre hotel is on a back street in Coconut Grove. Parking is ample and check in is efficient. I didn't set my standards too high because everywhere else is way more expensive. This hotel has thermostats with motion detectors. This means that during the night, they don't sense any motion and they turn the air conditioning in your room... More

Three of us shared a two bedroom suite. It had everything we needed, including a kitchen and a little kidney-shaped pool right outside our door. If you want to be in walking distance of Mayfair's restaurants and shopping as well as the marina area of the Grove, this is the place. Everything (including the coin-operated laundry) was sparkling clean, and... More

I stayed at this hotel last March. It's pretty close to the sea (within walking distance). The room was march larger than expected (we have two persons only but I didn't understand what are 'suites'). But outside your room it looks like a 50-year-old dormitory. If I were traveling with my whole family, I would raise my star rating. Lot... More

Thank You so much for staying with us and for your comments. We have recently completed renovations of all of our guest rooms and now we are working on the exterior. I am sure on your next visit you will be please with what we have done. Miami is a metropolitan area and as such does keep a visual police... More

I stayed here for two nights recently. I previously stayed at the Hampton Inn nearby but prefer this location and hotel. My room looked like it had been renovated recently. The room was quiet and really large. The front desk staff was very helpful-- especially Jenny who took the time to explain how to walk over to the CocoWalk shopping/... More

We booked our stay last minute after troubles at another hoteL, so we paid more than I would have liked. We did though enjoy our stay. We had 5 people in the 2 bedroom suite. It was clean. Staff was excellent. Very friendly. Evening hospitality was pretty pathetic, pools rather tiny. One of the bathrooms didn't have a fan, I... More

Friendly staff greeted us and provide us with a room upgrade. Room was great . The free breakfast every day was always top-notch. Each night there was a guest welcome with free wine, beer and snacks. The location is great, very short walk to downtown and to the harbor. Did not use the pool. Secure parking is under the building.... More

We had booked a 2 room (1 bedroom) suite for two nights. When we arrived at 3 p.m., we were given, without warning and without an offer of price reduction, a cheaper single room with kitchenette, but at the same pre-booked price. We only noticed this after we had taken our luggage up to the room. When we protested, we... More

Thank you so much for your comments. I sure am happy that in the end you liked the newly renovated rooms. I am very sorry for your check in experience. I am positive that you were offered the smaller room just as an option to get comfortable while waiting for your actual guest room. As you can imagine renovating is... More

I expected a lot more from this hotel, it's supposed to be a Marriott! On arrival at the hotel I was told the room wasn't ready and it would be a twenty minute wait. Unfortunately it was more like an hour and when I asked why it was taking so long I was told the lock on the door didn't... More

Good location, but hotel is pretty old. The rooms have been renovated, but the rest of the property needs some attention also. It is fairly noisy around the pool area. The breakfast was good with many choices. I don't care for the "prefab" eggs, but it was better than some hotels. The yogurt parfaits are always nice. The town of... More
