My room had a dresser, table and chairs, air conditioner, microwave, tall mini fridge and freezer, a t.v. and a bed. The room is very small (no open floor space because of the furniture). The room was clean as was the bathroom. Outside my room there was picnic table and umbrella with a beach view. There is also a nice... more

This is one of those little family owned operations, which are hard to find anymore. Price was incredibly reasonable and the owner's son Chuck, was very accomodating. I saw the earlier review, and I really think that she failed to appreciate Chuck"s dry humor. We found him very helpful and quite entertaining. He told us all the best places to... more

We were visiting Tallahassee and wanted to also take a mini vacation and enjoy a few days at the beach with our 3 small children. Ages, 6, 3 and 1. We wanted someplace quiet, and wanted to avoid the crowds so Panama was out. I stumbled on Mexico Beach, and was shocked at the dirt cheap prices of the Gulf... more

This is absolutely the best deal you can get on a room on the forgotten coast! I have never seen a more beautiful beach or sunset in my whole life and we can't wait to go back to Gulf View Motel. I'm not really sure where the other lady got that the owner's son is rude, because he was really... more

An amazing value, great location! We didn't want to leave! This was our third or fourth trip to Mexico Beach & we have stayed at different places each time. This was the least expensive by anywhere from $30-100 per night. It was very quiet, directly across the 2-lane street from beach access. We still had plenty of the ocean view!... more

Since I hadn't seen any pictures, I was a little hesitant. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we first saw it. We don't like staying in chains or large hotels, so this was perfect. We had a kitchenette unit, which was well stocked and if there was something we needed, they got it for us. The owner and his son... more

We have stated here several times. If you want a clean older budget place this is the one for you. All ground floor units right across the street from a great beach access. Full sized refrigerator as well as a gas stove and a sink in each unit. We stayed here for a week and it is by far the... more

This family owned motel is a last vestige of Old Florida. It is right across the road from a gorgeous beach, convenient to restaurants and other simple pleasures of the relatively undeveloped town of Mexico Beach. If you want amusement parks, dance clubs, etc, go to Panama City. If you want a very reasonably priced stay in a clean motel... more

This is nothing fancy. It is simple but clean. The rates are half the price of anything else in the area. No you are not right on the beach but walk across a two lane road and you are there. The motel is sort of a horsehoe shape with grassy area in the back with picnic tables that is a... more

The motel is just 2 lanes from the Gulf! The owners never claimed it was on the beach. If you know there's no internet be grateful the son offers you his. The rates can't be beat, call around including the El Govenor it's like 800.00 a week + tax!!!! 375.00 a week + tax and 5.00 for each additional person... more
