Had arranged for late arrival- key was on the table, as promised. Key would not lock door from outside- so had sandwiches from convenience store across street night of arrival. If you want to view the ocean and have it rigt outside your door, this is the place for you we were there for 5 days and loved the beach and the people, other than that the hotel itself is not great has not been kept up. no clean towels, no beds changed, actually we asked for clean sheets on... more

Don't be fooled by their website. It's right on the beach, but the rooms are really bad: shabby, badly arranged furniture, poor lighting, no bathroom fan or outlet, no dresser to store clothes. My wife and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Buena Vista Motel in Mexico Beach,Fla. We were made to feel very welcome . The management was very friendly and being a Pet Friendly motel allowed us to take our dog with us on vacation. We enjoyed our stay very much, and plan on a return trip. more
