This is my 3rd visit to this special place and I hesitate to even write this review and attract crowds! I tent camped at the marina which lets you live between the lagoon (gorgeous sunsets) and the ocean (quiet and gorgeous). On a rainy day, you can visit the Treasure Museum, the Fisherman's Museum, and other spots. On a sunny... More

Loved this campground. Clean and small. Right on the bay with lots to do. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only problem was the no see ums! Bathrooms are close by and clean. Close to good birding places!

I want to give a great review but I just can't. I will try to give an equal review. I liked and hated the campground. If you are sensitive to any type of biting insect, don't go in the summer. We are literally covered in 100's of no seeum bites. It didn't matter what sort of bug spray we used,... More

Beautiful campground, but the flea infestation is HORRIFIC, citronella, bug repellent well they didn't work. We bought 2 days and stayed NONE. And now we are battling a flea problem in our car and we DON'T OWN PETS. Never again.

We camp, tent style, all over Florida. This camp ground is very clean. Not crowded, like other places. I suggest to avoid spots near the water, since like some have said, could be prone to people taking exposed stuff. Bugs can be an issue, bring repellant and citronella, it worked for us. Bathroom facilities were very clean. There are restaurants... More

First time we've been camping in years, and we had a great time. We are planning on returning often, and soon. While our first experience was a little much for our 3y/o niece... A raccoon immediately stole our bag of marshmallows at 2pm, but hey.. We all gotta eat. After setting up the tent, we used our parking pass for... More

Stayed in April for a week. Lovely campground right on the inlet. Beach nearby. Fishing nearby. Restaurants nearby. Two jettys to walk out on and watch the ocean and fish jumping. Campground is in a great location. You can see the inlet from almost every campsite. Dump station available. Small grille available right on inlet. Protected beach. Was a bit... More

We ended up here for a night by random choice - ended up in Vero Beach for meeting and needed place for the motor home. Campground is good, sites are spacious by Florida standards. Staff friendly and helpful. The beach is awesome. Miles of sand and, because it is State Park and nature preserve, no houses or condos! Downside -... More

We tent camped at the primitive camp site. Oct. 2013. The sites hare real nice and the folks who work there are very helpful. There is a lot of wildlife to see birds, black snakes, raccoons, land carbs, and great fishing. Nice new bathrooms but they only have a outdoor cold shower. They tell you this on the web site....
