Outstanding premises, superb service. The staff in the restaurant have been trained to a very high standard and work as a synchronised team, unobtrusively and very efficiently. The accommodation is architecturally quite beautiful and the ambience throughout is delightful. The management team - I met Colm and Pauline - clearly aims to exceed clients' expectations - and succeeds in that... More

Clonabreany House is a joy to visit, it's style is understated and deserves greater exposure. the courtyard on a sunny day is a special place, partly shaded for those avoiding the sun. the food is top quality and the accommodation is stylish with good quality beds. The rural aspect makes it!

Attended a wedding here and could find very little to fault the venue. Staff were great although it was clear that our servers during the meal had not much experience in waiter service. Accommodation was superb but the key snapped off in the lock and no replacement key was available. Luckily I was sharing with several friends who could let... More

Many thanks for your review of Clonabreany House. We appreciate your feedback and for highlighting several issues. We did have a problem with the quality of the key that our supplier had provided and have since replaced all cottage keys with a more sturdier version. We also strive to offer the highest quality of service. We provide quarterly training days... More

Clonabreany House seems very successful in marketing to the prospective happy couples: the appeal of the Georgian House, the lovely bridal suite and beautiful country setting are impressive. They also know that the happy couple are the decision makers and wedding guests are a captive market for overnight on site accommodation especially in such remote rural location. If the management... Thank you for your review of Clonabreany House and the wedding you attending there. We have found your feedback to be honest and we appreciate your upfront and open tone. However your use of the term ‘Hobson’s Choice’ is unfair and completely incorrect in describing our venue. That you would choose to use this term is bordering on nasty. I... More

Myself and my partner attended a wedding here on the 6th September. Food was out of this world, beautifully presented. Everyone commented on the service provided by all of the staff as it was really exceptional, they were professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, they simply could not do enough for us. The venue was exclusive to wedding... More

To summarise our stay: - even though we had rang to explain our requirements, our reservation was wrong with a double instead of a twin room - was charged €45pp to sleep on a sofa bed in the living room of a bungalow - as a result of the hotels mistake on checkin, my daughter (20 years old) was given... As our cottages are listed buildings we could not renovate all bedrooms to have ensuite facilities hence the shared bathroom facilities. We recently stayed one night at Clonabreany House after a beautiful wedding reception on the premises. The style and decor is classy and elegant with a touch of rural Ireland, while the site surrounding area is remote, picturesque and very peaceful. We were a wedding party of about 170 and had the entire place to ourselves. The staff in particular... More

Had a wonderful experience at a recent wedding here. Some of the friendliest service I've ever come across, beautiful setting, and wonderful attention to detail. Very good food, especially given the amount of people who were catered for. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful, with a good selection on offer. The rooms and accommodation were beautiful and extremely clean. My... More

Thank you very much for your review and feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us here.
