Went for two days over July 4th with family. (12 and 8 year old). First stop on tour of Floriday. Went to Marriott Marco Island; Ritz Amelia Island, and Ritz Sarasota. Marco Island has the best beach...white sand and great offering of water activities. Prices aren't cheap...however optional. There are two very good pools. Although one is supposed to be... more

We went for the 4th of July and had an incredible time. We cashed in some rewards points so our room did not cost us anything ( Thank you, Marriott). We decided since we were not paying for our rooms we would splurge on a poolside cabana. Let me tell you, if you like to be catered on this is... more

My check-in experience began with a 40 minute inquisition with Pamela. Apparently my Friends and Family document puzzled her. She called several people to question what I was entitled to and made sure I didn't receive anything more than that despite my confirmation sheet I presented to her with that information on it. I had to start wheeling my own... more

My husband and I used some Marriott points to stay here for 2 nights in the beginning of June. Since we weren't paying a cent, I was prepared to be put in the cheapest, worst room the could get us. I was pleasantly surprised when we were given a room on the 9th floor with a beautiful ocean view. The... more

We were looking for a resort hotel that was good for children and we found it. Great pools, right on the beach, endless activities, plenty of food options. You could check in and never leave the hotel. It is beautiful and the staff was perfect. If you are going to Marco Island and you have children - this is the... more

We loved Marco Island!! Conference staff was very helpful and made a carefree trip in planning, arrival, and stay. Had a luau barefoot bench dinner with roasted pig and all! Wished my kids could have been with me. They had a wonderful kid's pool and activities; plus an adult pool area. more

We were down for 4 days for a wedding in Marco Island. We rented a car from the airport through Hertz and dropped it off at the Hertz location in the Marriot which was very convenient. The actual hotel property was quite nice! You actually feel as if you are on a Caribbean island. They have beachy music playing for... more

Location, food, the pools, the service, the rooms....all excellent. Not my normal review but really enjoyed this location for a good family vacation. Lots of people so not for those looking for peace and quiet or romantic getaway. Marco is unique and wonderful sunsets. more

We did a family road trip from Houston, Texas to stay in this property for one week. In total, our stay was outstanding. The staff at the hotel was really great - which is something that I've never said about a hotel staff before. The property is on a fantastic beach the pools are great. I could blabber on indefinitely... more

My mom and I stayed here one night for a weekend girl's trip. It was the perfect drive from Deerfield, it was close but far enough away that we felt like we went somewhere. I am a Marriott Rewards member so I believe that I hold the properties to a higher standard and they didn't fail. The rooms are spacious,... more
