This was our first time staying here. We had our dog Toby with us and he was welcomed by everyone. Cottage was very pleasant to stay in right on the harbor. Walking distance to the beach and John's Pass. It was a great vacation for my husband and I. We have already booked our next stay this time for two... More

Our stay at Changing Tides Cottages in Madeira Beach was awesome. Christmas lights and decorations all around made it so festive. The view was beautiful and you could fish right off their docks. Kayaks were available whenever you wanted!! The quaint, themed, no frills cottages have everything you need. The owners and staff on site made sure everything was just... More

I found out about Changing Tides Cottages on the Internet. Everything about the reviews indicated that this was just the place my husband and I were looking for to relax. We also were in need of a pet friendly location so our little Molly could come with us. On the way down from New Jersey, I wondered if I made... More

This was a wonderful place for a quiet retreat. The cottages are clean, comfortable and well stocked. The full kitchen had a full size coffee pot, oven, and fridge. I stayed in the Nature Cottage, which was right on the water, and had it's own porch. Very big dog friendly....my 120 lb Mastiff loved it too! Kathy runs a great... More

We've been coming here for years. It's a wonderful oasis on a quiet canal, across from a small marina. It's in a residential neighborhood, away from the busy Gulf Blvd, but a short walk to beautiful Madeira Beach and near John's Pass and Publix, etc. The last two years we've brought our dog with us. She loves it, too. Not... More

Just got home from another great stay at Changing Tides Cottages. So relaxing in our well equipped, comfortable cottage surrounded by lush Florida greenery. Even had some playful dolphins swim by one morning! Coffee on the comfy front porch each day, set the tone for a wonderful visit. Can't wait to go back.

Here are the the pros and cons Pros- Take large dogs Area fenced in Location in walking distance to Johns pass Price reasonable Bedrooms larger (living area very small) Grill/picnic table area for congregating Private and patio outside unit which I used often since the... Changing Tides Cottages works very hard to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our guests. We are on the property most of the time and are visible and available. So, it catches us by surprise when a guest brings forward a list of complaints on Trip Advisor that were never mentioned or even alluded to while being a guest... More

My dog and I have been with Kathy for the last 3 out of 4 years. I do travel quite a bit but have never done a review. After reading the recent review on the jungle room I had to speak up. I have no idea what place they were talking about, because it sure wasn't changing tides. I was... More

Wasn't so sure I'd like Madeira Beach, I'm more of a Panhandle gal, but I was pleasantly surprised. This place is so relaxing: stayed in Sports cottage and loved it. These cottages are pretty old, I'm guessing, but I found them clean and comfortable. I saw bugs outside, and a few small lizards, but as someone else said this is... More

This is our second visit and both times stayed in the Nature cottage. Both times our cottage has been very clean and the owners are helpful in area restaurants and places to visit. Our favorite thing is our dogs are so welcome without the ridiculous extra charges. The beach and Johns pass is so close to walk too. You get... More
