We rented a gulf front unit on the 5th floor. Full gulf views of the beach and beautiful sunsets every night. Unit was a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with full kitchen and open dining and living room. Unit was clean and had all the necessities. Kitchen and living area have been remodeled and look modern and nice. Bathroom needs updating... More

Brought my family here for years. Rooms are a little tired, but gulf front units have great view. Nice pool and hot tub, but many of the owners are pains in the rump. Little kids can't splash without offending the old people trying to read, a few think they own the whole place, a few constantly smoke cigars by the... More

I come here every year and they always have something new that makes it even better. There is a new patio area with picnic tables and umbrellas to eat outside near the grills. There are now storage bins where other vacationers left beach items-floats-noodles, chairs, balls. The pool is well maintained. My room was clean and neat. The kitchen was... More

Commodore beach club is tiny, very tiny. It is right on the beach with a convenience store right next door. The rooms are basic, no frills, but clean. The pool areas get crowded because of the small size. We were in a pool view room and were pleasantly surprised that there was a great view of the beach and Gulf.... More

We went there last minute on a trade, the week before we stayed at a Marriott in Myrtle beach. Our first thought was what did we get our self into. But that changed. The place is out dated but clean. The location is every thing. We never spend much time in the room any way there is to much to do there. You... More

I come here every year in July and it has everything I need. Super clean room, John's Pass marina and shops, restaurants in walking distance-even a 7-Eleven. This place is right on the beach! The sunsets are spectacular as is the friendly and helpful staff. I sleep great here and I love that the kitchen is all new and spotless.... More

We have owned a timeshare at the Commodore for the past 20 years. We own a one bedroom Gulf view. Would not recommend the pool view rooms - very small and dark. The gulf view rooms are good. The view (with balcony) is the best. Have your coffee and watch the dolphins swim by. Our balcony is approx. 20 feet... More

My wife (Mrs. Pitbull) and I stayed at the Commodore Beach Club with a friend who got it as a last minute timeshare exchange. It was a 1-bedroom unit poolside. I could not believe any place could be so outdated and still operating as a resort. Basically, it was a very small living room with a bathroom, a walk-thru galley... More

My husband and I have been going to this condo complex for a few years and look forward to the relaxing break. The Commodore is located right on the beach and yiou can walk for long distances on the soft white sand. The units have full kitchen facilities that have been recently renovated allowing you to cook for yourself if... More
