5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My husband and I spent a week at Sandpiper Inn and absolutely loved it. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the beach is right out front (no road between you and the beach), the "cottage" is attractively furnished and very well equipped----kitchen had pretty much everything needed for even a complicated meal (we were missing a baking sheet for chicken wings... Such a nice place. Quiet, beautiful landscaping, direct access to the beach. Many of the guests are repeat customers who stay more than a week and the age range is on the older side rather than younger which again, makes for a quieter stay. Also glad the location was on a quieter part of the island rather than near the... More

Staying at the Sandpiper Inn takes you away from the cookie cutter places of the chain hotels. And it avoids the large condo settings, too. There are only 11 rooms and each one is a bit different in furnishings. There is a full kitchen in each and comfortable beds and couches as well as TV and wifi. Outside your room... More

We've been coming to the Sandpiper since 1998-99, and it gets better every year - if that's possible. The owners are wonderful and we consider them special friends. The individual units are even nicer than last year. New mattresses, new fixtures/sink in the bathrooms, flatscreen TV in the bedroom (in addition to the existing TV in the living/dining area), plus... More

But I guess it's fair since we found it on tripadvisor. Our one bedroom with full kitchen was just perfect, and you can't beat the private beach right outside the door. We would go back in a heartbeat. Way more atmosphere than a high-rise for lots less $$.

Thank you very much for your stay. We are happy you enjoyed our piece of paridise directly on the gulf. We like you always check Trip Advisor for advice prior to a stay. We hope you will come back soon. Sunny Regards, Life is always better at the Beach Christine Gorman Cullison More

It's funny that this small in surrounded by large resorts and developments. But this inn is the definition of charming. It is very peaceful with 10 or 12 apartments. The couple that runs the inn were very friendly and made sure that we needed everything for our stay. The units were older, but recently renovated with newer A/C units and... More

First stayed here three years ago for four nights and couldn't wait to come back for an entire week. Units have been upgraded since then, and we loved the recliner sofa! The a/c was SO quiet and efficient, too. The laid back setting and friendly people who stay there are the best! It's like turning back the clock to the... More

I needed a place to stay after meeting a friend for lunch in Bradendon, FL, and decided I wanted a place right on the beach. So I drove and happened upon this wonderful privately-owned little inn. The private beach on the Gulf of Mexico is lovely and comfy loungers provided along with beach towels. A small little pool for an... More

We came here for our 5th anniversary. (Having already had 2 kids we needed a RELAXING weekend) This was the perfect place for us. We've done the fancy resorts, the go-go-go places, & wanted something more laid back. The rooms aren't new- but they are clean. Everything is well kept & neat. If you're the type that has to have...
