Parmer's Resort is beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable. The location is by far the highlight of the resort; it is right on the water and there are truly incredible views from the many docks on the property. Think back to the old fashioned motel room, with bar soap and no shampoo, or anything and you have Parmer's .  The room was as depressing as they get with a very wobbly ceiling fan , loud  air conditioner, dim lighting, not a fraction of ambience.  There are other rooms however, which could make for a positive room experience....
