I stayed here for a short time. I'm not sure if it was just bragging but, just before leaving I spoke with a maintenance worker who told me that he was leaving town and had been taking vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners and air conditioners to fund his trip. Stayed here a couple of weeks ago for 4 nights since needed a cheap place to stay in this area. We needed a dog friendly property for 1 night near West Palm Beach and we were a little concerned when reading other reviews. I stayed at the Motel 6 in Lantana Fl. (West Palm Beach area) for a few days in Sept. while visiting family. The location is next to I-95 and makes it easy to navigate the Palm Beach area. The room was neat but could of been a bit cleaner. 24 hour on site police patrols makes the location safe and not worry about older posts of on site crimes that happened here. McDs, Publix, Dunkin... I've been here for 4 days. Disgusting, dirty, thieves, drug addicts. Worst place EVER!! No cable, crappy Wifi, dirty sheets, dirty floors, animal hair, I can't go out b/c the low lives hang out outside lurking and the staff is just as suspicious. With apologies to garbage dumps. They never made the room, or pick the garbage, or provide towels. Dirty. DIRTY. D-I-R-T-Y. Wifi signal was almost nil. Manager a Neanderthal. Dirty dirty dirty, No towels. The front desk said they were all out and gave us the some floor mats. The bedspreads had holes in them and the carpet was dirty. For a couple bucks more I will stay at a Super 8. We stayed at the Motel 6 by Disneyworld and that was only in the 30's and a little cleaner. No problems with bed bugs or cleanliness per se, but it was definitely lacking. Housekeeping was really nice. If you have children though, keep them close. A lot of dirty looking older men walk around half clothed and you can smell the stink of marijuana often. Also, the pool had half naked (literally, thongs, etc. things hanging out) people (men and women). More
