I had been to Paradise Lakes a dozen or so times over the past couple years, previously preferring the other resort up the road. With new management at PL making great improvements, I'm now visiting the resort numerous times each week. Fun & sexy theme parties every weekend. Awesome food & drink specials during the week. The dance club remodeled.... More

From the moment of arrival, the place looks like a dump, and that continues throughout the property. As for the staff, they were far from professional. Friendly yes, professional no. The room was marginal at best, dirty fridge, washed but not clean dishes and glasses. Forget about clean pillows and bedding. That's just too upscale for this joint. Now, we've... More

I stayed here for a long weekend recently. I was a first time visitor and much of what everyone else has said in prior reviews is true. The rooms are old and shabby looking and overpriced. The main thing to be aware of is that many of the people either live on the resort grounds or have been regular visitors... More

I left a fantastic time at Cypress Cove Resort and drove an hour and a half west to Paradise Lakes Resort. It was interesting. While I felt like a welcomed guest at Cypress I felt like a charge card number at Paradise - nothing more nothing less. The front desk staff were where the contrast started. At Cypress the people... The only positives I have for this resort are tat it was close to Tampa and thus easy to reach and the breakfast was great. The bar staff and wait staff were very friendly. Other than that, we were not impressed. The room was very small with mismatched furniture, etc. and not particularly clean. The amenities are not much. There... More

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Paradise Lakes. Normally, we would go to Grand Lido but this year we decided to save some money and try a new resort in the US. For those that have been to Grand Lido Braco, the resort is a lot like the nude side at Braco. Everything is right there,... More

My husband and I have been visiting Paradise lakes for over 14 years. We go for long weekends a couple times a year. We stay at the hotel cabana's in the main resort around the pool. Our only complaints are that the rooms are very outdated. However, on our last visit we found a couple of rooms that are privately... More

Visited PL several times as day visitors. Staff: Much friendlier than at Caliente Resort up the road. Pools: Too small, get crowded very quickly, but at least they are heated (unlike Caliente's main pool). Restaurant: Decent value for money. Generally not as spacious as Caliente, but a nicer, less pretentious crowd.

I like paradise. the people are very friendly, however, the main pool area and hotel rooms need a major makeover. The rooms still ran by the club (I understand some are own by individuals and have been upgraded), but if you book a NON deluxe, it still has the decor from the 70's and probably haven't been painted since the... It is with a degree of sorrow that I inform you of the current state of Paradise Lakes Resort. We have stayed 7 times at Paradise—the last four being for 4 months each. Here is the current state of affairs: 1. It’s raining, and you decide to get a paperback from the library. Sorry, you’re locked out, but can view... More
