Where to start...finding the entrance to this place is not easy, especially in the dark, my GPS kept sending me around and around until I eventually found the front of the hotel. My stay there was less than pleasant - everything smelled like mildew, especially hallways and the elevators. There was poo or blood on my shower curtain. And then... More

First trip to Lakeland. The hotel was clean, rooms were very large with a couch and mini kitchenette plus work space. Breakfasts were typical and food was warm, fresh. Requested a late check out which I got but then the bill was incorrect and they corrected it immediately and apologized for their error!! Front desk staff made recommendations for dinner... More

We stayed at the Hyatt in Lakeland this past weekend, and booked through Booking.com. The hotel staff initially told us they had no rooms and no record of our reservation. When we produced our booking number, they found a room...not a King as we had booked but a room. After checking in we found there was no water in the... More

Hotel website was showing no vacancies for our dates, so I booked through booking.com (who DID show vacancies, which is confusing). When we arrived, there was NO record of my reservation and the hotel was sold out - YIKES! Fortunately, I had my confirmation email but even with that, we waited almost an hour in the lobby for them to... More

We stayed 2 nights while visiting Legoland, FL- about a 25 minute drive. The hotel is newer and well maintained. There is a nice sitting area and a tiny kitchen counter and sink. The room had a microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom was tiny though but they did put the sink outside, so that was useful. There was no... More

We stayed in Lakeland because the cost of hotels in Orlando for the week after Christmas was extremely high. Rather than paying $200+ per night in Orlando, we stayed in Lakeland for $76 per night (tax included via Priceline). More affordable to drive 40 minutes... We had some issue with the toilet and had to jiggle the handle almost every... More

We checked in late last night to find out our room for four was a king bed with a pullout couch. At least our kids are small enough that having both of them on a pullout wasn't a big deal and they were exhausted so they didn't complain. Our king sized bed had a mattress that has seen better days.... More

We travel to Lakeland often, and enjoy this property because of its location near downtown, and the staff seem to really enjoy working there. Carlos checked us in and greeted us each time we arrived or departed the property. Out room on the third floor was very quite and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast ordered great sandwiches and our... More

Great rooms, awesome customer service, and very helpful and courteous. Room rates were very reasonable, and again we cannot say enough about all of the staff. The included breakfast was the coup d'etat.
