Charming and luxurious. Old style hotel, elegantly modern. Spacious comfortable rooms. Beautifully finished and appointed. Quiet elegance. Morning coffee and pastries in the lobby. Excellent for couples or for business travel. Probably not for families. No pool. Central to Lakeland business district. Free parking.

I am what you would call a native lakelander and my husband and I love this place. We have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious and we make it down here for happy hour now and then. Danielle is our favorite bartender but lately we have been coming on wednesdays when a sweetheart named Amanda works... More

We stayed at the Terrace and enjoyed a sumptuous room with an upper story window overlooking downtown Lakeland, It was great. For people who like to feel pampered or who want to receive the impression they are among the upper crust, this is the place to be. However, that's not really my style. The front desk staff was extremely polished... More

I travel often for business staying at numerous hotels. In a past career I also worked as the Front Office Manager of Loews' property, a 500-room historic inn, and boutique resort. Lakeland Terrace Hotel attempts to be luxury market but misses the mark with details: - Upon arrival to room on the third floor, and seen daily, a service room... More

We enjoyed staying at the Terrace twice. We prefer being able to walk to shops, restaurants and around the lakes in Lakeland rather than always driving! They have nice coffee, fruit and danish for complimentary breakfast. There is a restaurant and bar in the lobby.

We spent two nights here, I enjoyed the hotel itself. We like the idea of staying in older more quaint places. We had a view of the lake across the street, too bad the windows were too dirty to enjoy it. We did have breakfast in the dining room one morning, almost ninety dollars for four, on par with Denny’s.... More

We spent a night at the hotel just before Christmas, and our stay couldn't have been better. The front desk person was professional and friendly. Our room overlooked the lake - replete with lots of Christmas lights - and it was just lovely. The bed was comfy, too. We had a great meal at the Terrace's restaurant downstairs. This is... More

I called and made a reservation over the phone. Upon arriving the desk girl alex informed me that they were booked and they were moving me to another hotel for free. With it being 9pm at night with a small baby, it was annoying, but at least they were gonna pick up the room. Well they were sending us to... More

I am so sorry you got walked to another hotel. Reservations came from On Line Travel Agents. very fast in the afternoon that day and we were unable to close out fast enough. We relocated the last few reservations, all of which were made that day between 2:50 Pm and 3:10 Pm. More

I would not normally go out of my way to spend time in Lakeland FL but I had to try this hotel. What a jewel! This property reminded me of what fashionable accommodations were back in the 1930's. The hotel is a historical landmark and the architecture is beautiful. The pleasant smell throughout this property is also amazing. The room... More

The hotel has a lot of old world charm. We are pleased that the train no longer blows the whistle. More
