This hotel, right in the heart of downtown Lakeland, has a great historic ambiance. Frank Sinatra and Frank Lloyd Wright stayed here! I stayed in a suite which was very reasonably priced. It had a sitting room with sofa, desk, and fridge, the bedroom was large with windows looking out over downtown and some historic churches, and the bathroom was... More

I stayed at the Terrace to attend a meeting at the Lakeland Center . Great location . Located in downtown Lakeland, lots of small shops and restaurants. Staff very nice . Room overlooking lake, older but very quaint . One suggestion for the hotel is to include more plugs by desk . As I was travelling for business , need... More

Hotel met expectations in every area except: The promised continental breakfast was a just a few pastries and fruit, leading us to spend more going out to get breakfast. The promised highspeed internet was unreliable. It worked at night, but not during the morning.

We used the Terrace hotel for my parent's 60th wedding anniversary. Our whole family booked rooms here. My husband and I booked a suite but when we checked in on Friday night, were told no suites available. Rooms were dirty, very old, lots of cracks in the bathroom, shower head wouldn't stay upright. We booked the Lake Mirror room for... More

Great valet parking, clean rooms, Internet service in an historic hotel. We had a nice king room, complete with a mini frig. Staff was friendly and courteous. Is was a great night out. Check out Nathan's men's wear store just down the street. Great prices and selection.

So sad that this beautiful hotel is a little tarnished around the edges. A little attention to details would go a long way. We stayed for five nights, having just sold our residence in Lakeland. Thought it would be fun to stay in a place on the national register of historic places, as well as being right downtown near restaurants.... More

The price at the Terrace is higher than I would normally pay for a hotel room but I thought that I would treat myself by staying in an historical building. The building is lovely but I was sorely disappointed with the service and advertised extras. The front desk staff seemed mainly concerned with my ability to pay for the room... More

Charming and luxurious. Old style hotel, elegantly modern. Spacious comfortable rooms. Beautifully finished and appointed. Quiet elegance. Morning coffee and pastries in the lobby. Excellent for couples or for business travel. Probably not for families. No pool. Central to Lakeland business district. Free parking.

I am what you would call a native lakelander and my husband and I love this place. We have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious and we make it down here for happy hour now and then. Danielle is our favorite bartender but lately we have been coming on wednesdays when a sweetheart named Amanda works... More

We stayed at the Terrace and enjoyed a sumptuous room with an upper story window overlooking downtown Lakeland, It was great. For people who like to feel pampered or who want to receive the impression they are among the upper crust, this is the place to be. However, that's not really my style. The front desk staff was extremely polished... More
