We only stayed for two nights. The good stuff was a special buy one night get one free. Staff was friendly and helpful. Water and electric at each site. The bad. No pool. The regular rent area was closed. Not enough shade so tent turned into a sauna in the morning. No fan in the bathrooms. Could use a little... More

We have a small enclosed cargo trailer with a/c, electrical, windows & doors. We have been camping in it for quite awhile now at other state & national parks with no problems or complaints. To our surprise, we were told we were not allowed to camp in this park because we did not have holding tanks like regular rv's. Wow!!... More

It was a nice campground. When I set up my camper the facilities very good, breezy, my only suggestion are build up a swimming pool for kids, mini cafeteria, gift shop. I enjoy barbecue outside, meeting new friends.biking, enjoying the breeze, watching the jet skiers.

I like that it is on a lake since we like to kayak. If you have a boat and get a site on the lake you can tie your boat up at your campsite. Very popular lake for wave runners, boaters and fisherman, especially on the weekends. I like that the campground is next to a big and really nice... More

We spent the month of March 2013 in this campground. We met many nice friendly people, most were dog lovers, and we enjoyed getting to know each other during our walks. The park is extremely well run & rules are enforced. It is very clean, gated, and security patrols are common. I always felt safe, even late at night. We... More

We were visiting friends in Boca Raton and their friends recommended this campground. We were very happy with the park, beautiful surroundings and apparently we were in the "coveted" site #113 which was beautiful and we had almost no neighbors. The dog lovers in the park were a nice part of the experience since we have a rescue dog with... More

The scenery is ok. A beautiful lake that you can't swim in. My daughter contracted salmonella from it. The campsites are ok, they provide a park bench at each one. But.... The personnel is absolutely horrible. A bunch of miserable park captain commandos. There was one helpful nice young lady in the front office but that is it. Even the... More

My husband and I have stayed here many times, mostly in spring and fall, when it's packed. We stayed her in July and had it to ourselves. Granted, there is an airport nearby, but we were in a motorhome, so it did not bother us, plus no planes at night. There was a ramp and storage for our boat. Beautiful... More

Never mind the loud trains or overhead helicopters practicing auto-rotation or even the constant take-off and landings. Or even the fact no swimming is allowed in a lake where admittedly alligators roam the waters, yet they allow jet-skis and/ or water skiing -- down out right crazy! But all this pales in comparison to the rude and obnoxious park personel.... More

We made reservations without reading any reviews - and not having heard anything about this park, however I was looking forward since we did hear from a camper we met that this was one of his wife's favorite parks. I can't image why! The restrooms are clean - and we've had no problem with hot water -- but the stalls... More
