The customer service is despicable. The owner refuses to let you cancel your reservation. If you call and cancel and are told that is no problem he will still charge your credit card. RECORD YOUR CONVERSATION.

I stayed there 3 days for some cave scuba training. The room was clean, but not fancy. Could park right outside the room. The motel is a single level. Was nice to not have to carry 100's of pounds of gear up & down stairs. Very convenient. Close to great restaurants & across the street from a Wal-Mart. Equal distance... More

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Well we asked for non smoking and the room didn't smell to bad. However upon opening bed we found burn holes in the covers. Ceiling in bath has paint falling off. This being said, the motel is old and needs a lot of fixing up. Since this isn't cost effective this will be a... More

Older motel fairly clean. Bath could use a mildew/mold treatment but not terrible. Everything else clean, carpets clean enough for bare feet, bed comfortable. Better than you would expect for $45. No breakfast or toiletries but quiet and check in was quick and staff pleasant and courteous. We were able to see the room before checking in which is always... More

The motel is clean and mattresses are new. We rented two rooms 5 & 6 and both were identical in being well maintained. The squeaky hinges were did need oil on their new doors. Many chain hotels do not have a refrigerator and microwave and they did have that. I would stay here again as long as they kept the... More

The Driftwood Hotel is a great place to stay for a traveling night. It is located close off the interstate with easy access. The price is very good and it is a very clean motel. It is one story so you can park in front of the room. The beds are comfy enough for a good sleep. All in all,... More

When I got off the interstate at 1 a.m., I stopped at one of the chain motels. They quoted me $65 for a room on second floor, overlooking the pool, making a special note that I wouldn't be able to see my car. I decided to drive on toward town a bit. The Driftwood Motel looked like a nice enough... More

I can't believe someone wants a good, free continental breakfast at their rates. I have stayed at this motel twice in my summer travels. The bigger hotels were booked,so we gave it a try and was very pleased.Clean rooms and a huge ice machine by the office!
