We had 2 weeks banked and wanted to take an extended family vacation. We exchanged those for 2 units at SLR for the same week so both families would have plenty of room. We had a one bedroom unit at our home resort. We learned that you have to be very careful to get an equal exchange. One unit (building... more

This resort was booked as an exchange for our timeshare (which seemed like an uneven exchange, which did not even come close). We were placed in the one-bedroom lock-off unit next to the stairwell. The door leading to the stairwell was not working properly and slammed loudly every time somebody used it. The thunderous sound was unbearable. When I addressed... more

We stayed in building 1800. We had 3 one bedroom units. Each of our adult kids and there families had there own room which was great. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. There are lots of mirrors but, the furniture was arranged to help hide them some what. The furnishings are older but in good repair and... more

They have daily activities and nice pool area. You pay for wireless connect. The rooms were spacious, but average in decor. The appliances were mismatched, towels had long pieces of hair on them when unfolded. The key did not always work and half of the cable channels did not work in one bedroom. The staff was very polite about trying... more

My family stayed at Silver Lake Resort from June 5th through JUne 13th. My inlaws were in a 1 bedroom at the back portion of the resort. Room was very nice, had been very recently remodeled and was lovely. Bath amenities were Bath & Body Works. My husband and I spent the first night on their sleeper sofa due to... more

This was our second stay at Silver Lake Resort, both stays were a positive experience. We booked a 2BR unit through an online broker. We received a Two-bedroom lock-off villas feature 1005-1225 sq. ft. of living area, a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the great room, two full baths, three televisions with cable hook-up... more

I actually stayed at this resort in August of 2004 however this site doesn't allow me to go back further than 2006. The resort was ok, didn't have much to offer other than the normal amenities (pool, game room, etc.). The room was average too but nice. All in all I would recommend it. However, if you are in Orlando... more

We just returned from a terrific week at Silver Lake -- our first stay there. The "we" are my early-20's daughters and their fiances, as well as moi (mom). We were on the fourth floor of building 1700, right by the main pool, game room, fitness room and computer room (4 PC's, all can print). We had a *huge* 1400... more
