As one other reviewer mentioned - be sure to get full directions to the office. We booked through Hotels.com, which in turn used some other agent, "Leisure Rentals", which in turn used Global, whose office is in a strip mall about a mile from Oakwater. No one ever told us this, and even if you're able to find Oakwater Drive on a map, you have to find this Global office! Since the office is a 9-5 operation, the keys and other info are left in a lock-box - had it not been for several frantic calls to their 24-hour service line, we might have ended-up in a hotel!
Also, be sure to check for all the hidden fees - $30 insurance, some other cleaning fee, a $5 booking fee, and get this, if you want to use the "heated pool", it will cost you $25 per day - we found this out when reviewing the packet in the room.
You're renting someone else's residence, so I'm sure it's hit or miss with regard to bedding, furnishings, and amenities. Ours was average at best... more
