Location wise Hawks Nest is centrally located in the middle of the keys, about an equal distance from Key West and Key Largo. I come to the Hawks Nest every year and just because there is a tropical storm does NOT mean it is the Employees Fault...We have a fabulous time. There is a resteraunt that has opened unfortunately right down the road from the condo which will cause alot of traffic. I do not see them being open more than 2 years... more

I have stayed at the Hawk's Nest three times during the third week of March. We have always had excellent weather. The Hawk's Nest isn't new or modern...but it is familiar and friendly. The rooms are spacious...the views exceptional. Although there's not alot do do in Marathon but lay out by the pool, Key West is just an hour away.... more

We recently stayed at the Hawks Nest. We had to evacuate for two days due to tropical storm ernesto. It seemed as if bad luck was on our side for this vacation it was one thing after another.
