My family stayed here for two nights. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We initially planned on staying one night and added a second - making the trip down to Key West and returning here. The beach was clean, plenty of chairs both on the beach and under tiki huts. Pool was great. The people in the room next... More

Booked this hotel over the visitor center in key west! I regret booking over them! The beach the room and everything was not clean! The Internet was not working yet in the room even though we were told over the phone that we would have wi-fi in the room! I would definitely not come back! The view and the sunset... More

Husband and I and 2 daughters stayed here for 3 days, very quiet! I loved the location, right in the middle of all the activity on the beach. There was a big festival going on in Key west so we tried to steer clear of that location for lodging. This place was wonderful, I thought it was clean and well... More

We had to stop for an additional night at the Florida Keys to match our flight on july 30th. We stopped at the Key Colony Motel because of the private beach and pool where we could relax for a day. The old lady at the reception did kindly welcome us. On the other side the room was so old!! Bathrom... More

We searched for a clean, small and reasonably priced place to stay in the Florida Keys for a week of vacation. The Key Colony met and exceeded these expectations! The staff were very helpful, the property was well maintained and we would definitely recommend it to others who don't want to spend all of their money on accomodations.

We paid $95 a night over a holiday weekend! I was terrified about the hotel after reading reviews of this hotel posted here. So imagine my pleasant surprise when we arrived at a clean beach hotel. What a bunch of snobs who can't take showers because there was a bit of rust on the rim, blame it on the tropical... More

I was going to Marathon to work for my company for a week. My manager states that this will be a "very nice" hotel. I am sorry, It wasn't a nice hotel. You do get lost trying to find the place and when we checked in at 3:30pm , the staff was extremely rude and told us to wait in... More

Stay away.....do not stop....do not waste your money on this hotel.... We could not find this hotel, so we called. The woman at the front desk was rude and we should have kept going just because of that...We finally found the hotel and found it to be a converted Ramada that we quickly figured out why Ramada took their name... Terrible stay. The pool is closed from Health Advisory. Of course, we weren't told this at time of reservation. It is not really on the water. There are a few chairs overlooking a mangrove swamp..........There are some better hotels for better prices that are directly on the water within 2 miles of here. The bathrooms were dirty. The staff was... More
