This is not a modern or fancy place. It is super clean, private, and relaxing. Our beds were very comfortable and we had the beach and hammocks to ourselves. There was free coffee on the beach for sunrise and a walkway out past the rocks to make swimming easy. We will definitely return!

The price was right, and the description sounded nice so we booked our 7 night stay here. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The location was ideal for us: a little out of the main area and a beautiful setting! Our room basic but had everything we needed and more: microwave, toaster, coffee pot, fridge, and more. Plus, we... More

If you're travelling to the Key West, you're looking for relaxation, privacy, gorgeous views, and a gentle, easy time. This resort is the perfect place for all of that. Sure, the facilities inside aren't perfect, but step outside into the porch and take a seat. It feels like heaven. The location is perfect. The staff there are VERY friendly. (I... More

This is a "you decide" review.... View=+++ Room=---- We paid almost $300 for one night - New Year's Eve. Sat on beach in nice clean white plastic chairs, cocktails under the moonlight. Woke up to coffee on ocean. HOWEVER, room needed repairs, TV was from last century and remote didn't work and A/C was disgusting with mold/mildew. Beach had garbage... More

I would highly recommend staying away from this place. While the grounds are quite charming we couldn't check in early so we got there about 430pm Upon opening the door the smell that came from the room made me want to vomit. There was mold everywhere, I pulled the sheets back to find stained gross sheets and divets in the... More

I wanted a stay in the keys, but Ididn't want the noise and other stuff of Key West (except for a day trip), nor the fishing focus of Islamorada, or the "too close to Miami" feel you can sometimes get on Largo (although I found a great breakfast place there on this trip). I wanted the feel of a beach... More

This motel needs drastics updates. The rooms haven't been maintain for years. Walls and furniture need painting. Electric outlets didn't work. The kitchen was missing the bare essentials for cooking. The bathroom had mold and rust. If you're looking for a place to stay the night it's okay but not for a vacation. The location is a gem and it's... More

I think the name 'resort' may be a little misleading for this property. It was a budget choice for me while booking lodgings for my road trip, however I did think it was a little on the small and minimal side in terms of resorts. Based on the website description, I was under the impression that our room would come... More

We stayed here one night while exploring the keys and had a great time. The hotel is very old and our room was very small. That said, it was very clean and the towels and bedding were spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk was friendly and provided us with a list of things to do and recommended... More

The garden view room had to be the smallest room I have ever stay in. And the smell in the room became unbearable. And it wasn't the smell from the beach, which had its own aroma. Coupled with being charged twice for the room which I even questioned upon checking in, made this a very forgettable stay.
