We stayed at the Blue Waters to save money visiting Key West. The receptionist and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The full refrigerator came in handy as well as the full size shower. It was quiet and offered free wi-fi. The view from the back is gorgeous for... More

I had such hope for this place. I've stayed in Marathon several times and decided to try someplace new. The staff was very friendly and that's a plus, but nearly everything was in need of repair. There were plenty of cute places to sit outside -niches if you will, but unfortunately the chairs or tables were in pretty poor shape.... More

Nice Keys location away from the hustle of key west and key west prices . We only paid $70 a night for a waterfront room. It was kinda retro, but that's what I like about the place. Very clean and quiet. This was my 3rd stay.

While an older hotel, the rooms were large and very clean. The receptionist was very friendly. The hotel is on the western side of Marathon close to a lot of waterfront restaurants. Excellent value overall.

Cute place with just 20 units, big rooms! Ours had two double beds and a sleeper couch, bathroom that 2 people can easily change in, nice size kitchen with table for 4. Best part of the unit was your own carport! We drove down in a 68 corvette and were very happy to see it would be tucked away. Units... More

Just spent two nights here with my wife and daughter. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located near the 7-mile Bridge. Although we were satisfied with our stay, this is an older motel that could use some renovating. The shower had very weak water pressure and the tile floor/shower stall was very old and a bit on the grungy... More

Like a previous reviewer, we booked for just two nights, thinking we would then move to Key West. Well after going to Key West for the day, we decided to stay another two nights at Blue Waters. Yes, the place is old-style 50's, but our unit# 16 was quite spacious and very clean, despite the worn appliances and woodwork, and... More

We initially booked for 2 nights, then added 2 more, then 1 more. We hated to leave! We stayed in Room 12 which was large and had a big bathroom and full kitchen. There are tables, chairs, BBQ Grills, swing scattered outside. We had our own carport and clothesline. There is a washer/dryer on site. When you're in the nice pool... More

Try someplace else unless you want an early wake up call (the heavy construction 10 feet from our bed) began before 7 am, even on Saturday), the mold was pervasive (even after I pointed out the leak under the sink - which they fixed - the mold continued to perfume our unit even with he best efforts of the cleaning... I am the owner responding to you. I was also the person who checked you in . I was also the person you handed the full size paper filled with your complaints the following morning at 9:01. By mid afternoon to your own admission the "problems" you had were all taken care of. Also we take what our guests tell... More

1950's design with zero upgrades since then. A terribly worn out place that charges 2014 rates as if it was the Hilton. Try to avoid this place if you can! Be forewarned! All this place needs is a bulldowzer.

I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your stay. The Keys are a very unique location that is expensive to stay. Most of our guests return for the 1950's charm. More
